    I like that your demos keep in mind the audience the gear is built for, and you actually give plenty of time to hear the real sound in context, great vid

    • @MetalHeadProductions
      @MetalHeadProductions  Год назад +1

      Well the Rabid Mammal is a fuzz, not a preamp, I haven't actually gotten to use one yet so I can say how close they are or not.

    • @randye4586
      @randye4586 Год назад +1

    • @MetalHeadProductions

    wonder how this compares to the soldano slo pedal with the baghdads matamp circut at zero

    • @MetalHeadProductions
      @MetalHeadProductions  Год назад

      Not sure but that pedal is better as a distortion, not so much as a preamp, so idk how much they'd compare anyways.

    Hey brother awesome demo as always! Wondering this or the Life pedal V3?

    • @jamesshugart1299
      @jamesshugart1299 Год назад +2

      Life V3 is more versatile since it has boost, octave and dirt each with it's own foot switch. Something to consider depending on what your looking for.

    • @MetalHeadProductions
      @MetalHeadProductions  Год назад +1

      Well they're pretty different, this is a preamp not a distortion/fuzz. The life pedal is going to be more for that drone thing, and this can be used in all sorts of contexts. I'd personally go more for this because it's not that massive droning sound, as much as I do like the life pedal.

    • @bobbyspassov663

  • @ChubsStonehard
    @ChubsStonehard Год назад +1

    I love the idea of all these pedal manufacturers crafting different pedals that specifically craft the iconic tones of various artists. But what the hell is up with these price tags?! I could buy three solid pedals for the price of some these and use them craft the tones of multiple guitarist. Not knocking Does it Doom because their pedals are great but the price.

    • @NihilNovi
      @NihilNovi Год назад +3

      small batch production, handmade, r&d costs. .

    • @ChubsStonehard
      @ChubsStonehard Год назад +1

      @@NihilNoviI absolutely understand these reasons. I don’t understand the consumer spending the money on one pedal when the user could emulate several tones by purchasing multiple pedals for the price.

    • @MetalHeadProductions
      @MetalHeadProductions  Год назад +2

      This is priced about right for the market, what this and how they're made. If people want something like this, which is more niche, produced in low quantities by a single person by hand, then they also expect to pay a bit more for it. I personally don't think the price on this is unreasonable at all. Also, they might be able to buy a couple of boss pedals, or say a few ehx, but those won't get them this specific sound at all.
