      @@randywl8925 I haven't heard of them tearing them down so much as relocating them to where cheaper labor is. I think Dodge is jumping the gun if they think they can eliminate ice vehicles, but if they can get comparable horsepower & better fuel economy from a inline 6 w turbos, go for it. Ford has the Barra 6 in Australia that makes awesome horsepower, but doesn't bring it to the state's because "image". I don't see ICE vehicles going away in 12yrs, or 20yrs. The advancements being made in synthetic fuels will replace electric vehicle purchases before then.

    • @LETS-DREW-THIS
      @LETS-DREW-THIS Год назад

      Multiple government's are making it illegal to produce ICE after 2030 - 2035 ish. So until some new tech comes out I don't think we're gonna see that return in our lifetime. Maybe range extenders. Commercial vehicles and such, anything that needs to tow or haul significant weight because range becomes useless with EV when towing.

    100% agree with the comment about electric cars. One thing electric will never replace is the feeling and the sound of a perfectly done heel and toe downshift at the right time in a corner. Sure, they might be faster but they won't be as much fun.

    I've got a 15 Hellcat Challenger and love it, but you are correct, the 392 cars are better balanced. The 6.2 adds a lot of weight to the front making it understeer when cornered hard. FYI, proper lift (not jacking) point in the front is the subframe. The frame is marked with the triangles to show where to place the lift pads.

    Hey Sarah, 103.1 is a classic rock station in the Detroit area. Sad to see these go to be honest not the biggest Dodge fan but if I were to buy one, it would definitely be a challenger manual of course. I live a stones throw from Chrysler headquarters in Auburn Hills which is situated at the intersection of two major expressways so every time there’s a new variant hellcat, redeye, scat pack, etc. The Dodge boys ( executives at Chrysler )or whoever are ripping these things up and down the off ramps to those highways like a road course it’s really something to hear and see. I’m gonna read missed that. Have a great one as always.🐧🐧🐧👍

      i got the widebody and realized how much of a pain it is! you are dodging some pain besides the money. they look cool, and i like it, but the wheel offset with those special rims means you can basically only get OEM rims for it, and tires are hard to come by too. In Canada, i'm looking at $1300 FOR ONE RIM. ONE. to have a second set for winter tires. not doing it. you are way more flexible for tires and rims with the regular body. enjoy!

    I am glad you were able to do a review on a car I own!!! Glad you liked it! I only modded my car with lights and a few asthetics.

    Love your assessment on this vehicle ❤ you know your stuff and I think you are very knowledgeable about this vehicle…
    Thanks for sharing your experience and especially love the camera angles from the wheels to the garage…looking under it was really cool and I haven’t seen anyone else do this…

    Always in the garage with very very low miles.

    My dad's 69 Mach 1 had the hood pins with cables. Yes they look cool but damage the paint over time. Great place for some 3M protection where the cables rub. Protects the paint, you keep the cool look and easy to change when the 3M tape starts to look crappy.

    Great review but just a tip for the future lol (I’m a CDJR tech) there’s a triangle jack symbol on the front jack points. It’s on the front subframe kind of behind the wheel. Way easier that way.

    I have a 2013 Challenger R/T and I LOVE IT. Sure compared to this machine, mine is not as powerful, but the handling, comfort, and how fast it accelerates at speed are all so great to have. The sound too. I hate that they are killing off the V-8 AND the Challenger in general.

    I had a 2019 Challenger with the automatic V6. It was a great car. Took it on 2, 6,000 mile trips when I had it and it was a dream to drive. I did test drive a Hemi Challenger and it was QUICK. Your reviews are great.
