2:41 This was my favorite scene from this video. I love the background music and the overall cozy vibe of this hotel, and there's something that feels really nice about imagining myself walking through empty, yet fully lit or functional places like this. I'm really curious as to what that thing was at 2:55 though...
Kinda looked like a empty cart a hotel bellhop would push around for bags wizzing passed the exit from another corridor off to the side into another one out of view.
Definitely one of those carts. I assume it must of been either thrown by an entity, or maybe, one of the exits into the snowstorm level (most likely level 93), blew open and blasted the cart away.
Given that said cart was upright, I’d say it was pushed/shoved, like really hard given the speed it was going, like GEEZ! Definatly by an entity but what, who knows.

Up to the first minute, I can say that I've been in a place like that before, in a bank data center. The way it was guarded and the idea that any mistake you make will cost a lot, made me really phobic of these places. I also remember passing one of the rooms and seeing huge screens on the walls displaying some sort of monitored data, and that alone was scary as well.
3:52 what you see when you try to explain to Waternoose that Randall was forcefully extracting screams from children using an elaborate scream sucking machine but it turns out they were in cahoots the whole time

Never really thought about the *ambience* these sorts of spaces could have that wasn't just... the sounds of the scenery itself. Those weird chimes in that almost Cathedral area of the Poolrooms, and the lobby muzak in that red-carpeted area. Almost lulls you into this weird sense of security - there's noise to distract you from sounds you might imagine yourself. Nothing to say of an *outdoor* liminal space: a snowy mountain surrounded in what may be a perpetual blizzard. Are there even limits or borders to that level? And that huge torrent of water, along with that turbine that nearly pulled our unknown explorer in. It's interesting to think about what features different levels intersecting with each other must create. There's probably multiple oceans' worth of water in those poolrooms total, and it's clear some structures in there move the water around. You'd be treated to truly unique sights, ones that would otherwise require almost pointless levels of intense construction to create, here "naturally generated", or driven by whatever strange processes mold the Backrooms. Your focus on super unique environments, and the Entities - those known and those unknown - is really interesting and super creative. Feels less like some institute like ASYNC studying this place, but some underground community on the early internet or something sharing what they find, coming to their own conclusions (assuming their curiosity doesn't send them into the clutches of an Entity, like the one we see here)... This is hands down one of the best backrooms videos I've ever seen! The different types of levels and entities bring a whole new element of reality and horror to the backrooms. Keep up the great work man
Check out Kane Pixel's his channel, he has like Hollywood quality and lore to the backrooms. Its different from the Creepypasta tough. Not like 100 different levels.
The water flooding in looked a bit too viscous - not enough foam. Kinda reminds me of the gels in Portal 2. That said, this is awesome, very well done!
This is much more dynamic than the stale mazes we're become accustomed to, but I honestly think the animators can do good by outgrowing the backrooms "official lore".
yeah, the wiki's honestly drag this community down. they make it scp-like and remove a large factor of unknown, and to top it of they dont have the level of writing they need to add any more depth of scare beyond what the concept can
By surviving that entity at the end of the found footage: honestly there's no way the wanderer can escape the entity the reason why is because the place is closed area. Even if the wander can escape to an open area, we still have no idea of how fast the entity, by looking at it i'm gonna guess it's faster than a human, so there's no way the wanderer can survive this entity attack.
Plus the entity is crawling it’s probably use to moving like that where the wonderer is already tired and now has to be on his elbow and knees not a good position to get caught in, never put yourself into a corner in the back rooms take a look at corners but never walk down a dead end
3:54 imagine right here that you think you made it out of the Backrooms, and are now in one of the mountain ranges in the world. But you'll never find out because the weather is so bad and you'd be so isolated from civilization that you would die from exhaustion and hypothermia
The work you are doing is AWESOME! You know, I like the proposal to create an origin for the backrooms that Kane is bringing. But it kind of breaks the air of mystery that infinite-room complexes are supposed to be. An explanation is not needed. It's much more terrifying to think that each level is a universe that has shaped itself from the liminal spaces of our reality and that permeates space-time. Uniting different realities. makes Backrooms more unpredictable! And you convey these sensations in your videos! Congratulations and a hug from Brazil!
@@chaoz7370 It's a good point. Since, in the videos, the researchers seem not to understand well the structure and the possible dangers of entering The Complex
Yea, I don't think A-Sync made it either - they stumbled upon it, which is why they have expeditions - they don't know what it is. I think any lore should never define what the Backrooms is - keep it open-ended indefinitely.
I like kanes videos a lot better than these ones. I think Kane had thought a lot more about the lore and the story he wants to make than frag has, and I enjoy his videos a lot more, as they seem so much more purposeful.
I love your work man! You've found a method to combine the liminal horror with the Backrooms in a manner that doesn't take away from either, but enriches the overall experience of both. Love the music accent in the hotel hallway section. It gives you that uncanny feeling, since as much relaxing and familiar it is, there's no human that put that music through those speakers. It's just on by default, as if just one more property of that space.
This is just amazing man! This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for, seeing all the diferent levels is just something I have been itching to see in a video. Absolute magnificent job would LOVE to see more!!!!!!!
1:12 imagine if that was how you entered level !. You didn't noclip, the room you were in just transitioned to a long, red hallway, and all the people would disappear after the lights flickered.
Absolutely ASTOUNDING work! This has to be one of my favorite backrooms footages out there! So realistic and easy to get immersed in. Also, 2:46 i need the soundtrack to this!

This one more than ever before captured the dreamlike turning into nightmare scenario I feel. The environments are so beautifully rendered it gives me flashbacks to nightmares I had as a kid.
Man, this would be absolute peak VR experience. Imagine just a giant "back room" to explore; one area that just blends into another, all completely randomly located so that there could never be any guides about how to get to a certain area. Just exploration through an unsettling environment with no idea what to expect.
I like how this video explored the idea of “You can escape the backrooms, but you’ll be in extreme conditions back on earth with no clue where in the world you are.” On one hand, you’re back on earth but in incredibly challenging to survive conditions. But on the other hand, you’ll ironically have a better chance of survival looking for another exit.
he didn't return to the real world. I assume that is the old level 93 "the summit". Which consists of an Everest-like montain, with extremely negative temperatures!
Can anyone tell why all these backroom explorers don't bring any guns. one or two shots or even grenades can kill some entities when there's no way out.
Fantastic animation!! I loved the part in the poolrooms level when the pillar/drill started turning. That's chilling to think you might get sucked in!!
Loved that opening onto the snow, wow! The last one looked like a drained sewer system, could almost smell it. Colors and a great variety of effects. Thank you.
I love every new release for different reasons, this was awesome, I'm still so hyped from the solo exploration too, really really great work so thankful!
That turbine at 2:35 was unexpected, I wish you would've added a part where it sucks in all the water and A) the guys gets sucked in too or B) he barely manages to escape and looks back at the whirlpool. Btw hope you make future backrooms footages with more entities, those things really get the heart pumpin even tho they a little blurry and obscure sometimes
I love how the backrooms started as a simple 4-chan comment and has evolved into a collection of short films, web series, indie horor games, short stories, and so on. It’s like The Backrooms Cinematic Universe.
This may by far be the best video you've made yet, decently long and a lot of different scenes and scenarios to be in! I especially like the red hallways area, with the pretty chill music. Although still a somewhat false sense of safety with it all. It just keeps getting better though, awesome work!
That was so awesome! You are knocking it out the park, keep up the unfathomed good work , this community is awesome and I hope everyone who watched the premier and reading this has an awesome day/week!
Dude this is utterly terrifying, you have not only replixated what it wpuld be like to just walk around in the backrooms (just ending up in random levels unaware od what certain things do) and it just makes every single level 10x worse and you not only represented it well but made it well aswell, goodjob!!
The entity scares are nice but I love the "architecture" focused scares. A building alarm going off, power going off, etc. These are all normal things buildings do but it feels so... hostile. Kinda recontextualizes the backrooms as a living thing.
Gotta say that the floors of that first level it shown got me more than anything, looked like straight tv static, made my skin crawl and goosebump, keep up the awesome work!!!!!
Not gonna lie this is probably the best backrooms footage I've seen so far! The grainy effect adds the perfect amount of surrealism without making it too tacky. And the texture quality as well is really good.
I love how Kane does lore and stuff on the backrooms creation and what it's original purpose for was. While you on the other had focus more the entities and environments of the backrooms. Like a whole snowy mountainous region. That was so cool and that hotel hallway type are was cool too. It made me have a sense of nostalgia for some reason like Thanksgiving dinner with the family at some hotel with a dining room Love your stuff man

The disjointed footage is really jarring and eerie. Seeing the video cut from one dangerous situation to another entirely benign one really adds to the creep factor, especially when there's no conclusion as to how that bad situation was escaped from.

2:36 is absolute nightmare for me. Im terrified of underwater fans and turbines. The fact this backrooms clip has this one specific thing is perfect
This was very impressive as always, but I was distracted by the fact that the person filming doesn't seem to have a reflection at 0:35
Maybe in the backrooms people don't have any reflection 🤔
Because it a mistake
because in the backrooms, reflection most of the times do not exist just in rare times
Maybe he's a vampire.
@@0_dearghealach_083ah johnathan I am stuck in de fucking backrooms
3:51 this gives me Monsters Inc vibes, because of how the door was placed and the winter environment
3:45 “uhh sir, that’s not her door”
“I know, I know…it’s yours”
“Welcome to the Himalayas!!” 😃
“Snowcone?”
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The water flooding in looked a bit too viscous - not enough foam. Kinda reminds me of the gels in Portal 2.
That said, this is awesome, very well done!
This is much more dynamic than the stale mazes we're become accustomed to, but I honestly think the animators can do good by outgrowing the backrooms "official lore".
yeah, the wiki's honestly drag this community down. they make it scp-like and remove a large factor of unknown, and to top it of they dont have the level of writing they need to add any more depth of scare beyond what the concept can
@@kirtil5177 yeah the wiki tries to make SCP 2.0, and it just doesnt work
3:51 Welcome to the Himalayas! Snow cone?
By surviving that entity at the end of the found footage: honestly there's no way the wanderer can escape the entity the reason why is because the place is closed area. Even if the wander can escape to an open area, we still have no idea of how fast the entity, by looking at it i'm gonna guess it's faster than a human, so there's no way the wanderer can survive this entity attack.
Can he hide in an open area tho
@@haydenlee4804 he can hide behind a street lamp like in cartoons yeah
just piss at it
Plus the entity is crawling it’s probably use to moving like that where the wonderer is already tired and now has to be on his elbow and knees not a good position to get caught in, never put yourself into a corner in the back rooms take a look at corners but never walk down a dead end
He can break the entity’s ankles and try and kill it
3:54 imagine right here that you think you made it out of the Backrooms, and are now in one of the mountain ranges in the world. But you'll never find out because the weather is so bad and you'd be so isolated from civilization that you would die from exhaustion and hypothermia
WELCOME TO THE HIMALAYAS!
My take is that the corporation in Kane's videos didnt make the Backrooms, they were trying to find it and gain entry without needing to noclip
Aopa meu bom, legal ver q tem mais BR acompanhando esses negoço.
No look. #3
Absolutely ASTOUNDING work! This has to be one of my favorite backrooms footages out there! So realistic and easy to get immersed in. Also, 2:46 i need the soundtrack to this!
You can find that music at your local elevator lol
@@ateam6543 you’re not wrong haha
@@ateam6543 *gets in an elevator and noclips into the backrooms*

People would then fall back down to the Earth - No clipping and found footage predicted.

3:45 exiled sulley! Because of you I ended up in this freezer! It reminded me of that scene from monsters ink xD
I like how this video explored the idea of “You can escape the backrooms, but you’ll be in extreme conditions back on earth with no clue where in the world you are.”
On one hand, you’re back on earth but in incredibly challenging to survive conditions.
But on the other hand, you’ll ironically have a better chance of survival looking for another exit.
he didn't return to the real world. I assume that is the old level 93 "the summit". Which consists of an Everest-like montain, with extremely negative temperatures!
@@josealexandre7694 how'd he survive that is my qusstion
That wasn’t the real world it was just another floor.
Can anyone tell why all these backroom explorers don't bring any guns. one or two shots or even grenades can kill some entities when there's no way out.
@@luisalonso959 not all of the explorers are american
My favorite part about all your videos is that you show scenes of so many levels. I enjoy watching them all!
Fantastic animation!! I loved the part in the poolrooms level when the pillar/drill started turning. That's chilling to think you might get sucked in!!
Its a hydroelectric dam!!!
3:52 congratulations, you’ve escaped the backrooms! Welcome to somewhere much worse, Mount Everest!
Besides Pixel, you have some of the most high quality Backroom videos I’ve seen so far. Bravo!
1:33 No matter what we breed, we’re still made of seed this is my kingdom c this is my kingdom c

I love how the backrooms started as a simple 4-chan comment and has evolved into a collection of short films, web series, indie horor games, short stories, and so on. It’s like The Backrooms Cinematic Universe.
When the door opened up to the snowscape I thought the filmer had gotten back into reality, just it placed him in the dead center of Antarctica
3:51
in the distance: "snow cone?"
I would've pissed myself 😂
I expected a creature to say " Welcome to the Himalayas!" When he went through that do.
This is why Kane Pixals should hire you for the vhs thingy and the entities!
This may by far be the best video you've made yet, decently long and a lot of different scenes and scenarios to be in! I especially like the red hallways area, with the pretty chill music. Although still a somewhat false sense of safety with it all. It just keeps getting better though, awesome work!
3:52 It's too late, we're trapped genius! We're in THE BACKROOMS!
4:49 the McDonald’s playroom at night:
Lol
5:04 and then you find someone else
The entity scares are nice but I love the "architecture" focused scares. A building alarm going off, power going off, etc. These are all normal things buildings do but it feels so... hostile. Kinda recontextualizes the backrooms as a living thing.
you are one of the best in this genre, it's blowing up partially thanks to you. great work.
Large empty airports used to freak me out as a kid. This just brought those fears back.
I love how Kane does lore and stuff on the backrooms creation and what it's original purpose for was.
While you on the other had focus more the entities and environments of the backrooms. Like a whole snowy mountainous region. That was so cool and that hotel hallway type are was cool too. It made me have a sense of nostalgia for some reason like Thanksgiving dinner with the family at some hotel with a dining room

The water at 1:38 is so satisfying, great work man
I love how you made a water simulation in you'r animation very impressive and inventive.
you are doing a very good job in blender.
3:45 Love the monster's inc reference.
Honestly I’m starting to like this series more than Kane’s
same
This is better for entity sightings, Kane pixels stuff is all about the LORE
They are two best, each one developing a different aspect of the backrooms. But I agree I prefer this one.
Kane's work is a more independent take on it, frag is more about the sense of atmosphere and scale.
Eh its great and all yeah but kane hasn’t uploaded in like a month
i swear to god lights flickering and turning red was absolute nightmare fuel back when I was a kid, well done!
Always amazed that someone found these tapes and was able to bring them back to 'Earth.' Thanx again!
Ngl the ending jumpscared me lol, nice animation!
What a great video about the backrooms. This is so vast and so well made, that I can't believe what I just watched. Congratulations Frag2 you are a great BRs creator!
The flickering lights sound is amazing! Very well done everything!
3:45 POV: You got banished to the Himalayas by Mr. Waternoose
Kane Pixels, you, Gibbson TV and Queve are my top favorite Backrooms creators. Amazing realism here ! Incredible to think this was created because the realism is insane ! Great job !
I think these videos are better than kanes. The lore he does is cool and all, but I just prefer the enities and different levels from your videos. Keep making awesome content
Nah kanes and frags series are both cool
kane goes more sci fi type stuff
Holy shit the snowy mountains part was so good! along with the sewers, keep it up man
I’ve watched your other Backrooms exploration videos and I have no doubt that is will be incredible and this is happening on my birthday too so two cool things in one day
Ur vids are so perfect with the animation you desereve a gold medal

That winter area seems like a good place for some ice cones.
Rule 1 in horror: Always shut the door.
Not A Lie Guy. Rule 3 in horror stuff: always be pro gamer
Rule 4: dont try to escape
Rule 5: How about just don't go in a haunted related place
The disjointed footage is really jarring and eerie. Seeing the video cut from one dangerous situation to another entirely benign one really adds to the creep factor, especially when there's no conclusion as to how that bad situation was escaped from.
Can't you and Kane do a collab? You two would seriously be good together
That's probably not gonna happen.
@@crimzone4301 why you think that?
Yeah that would be awesome
@@thechrisman1345 Kane would probably like to focus on his own series. I'm pretty sure a collab would never happen or be necessary.
Wowww your technique is really improving everyday!!! I love your takes on these and the quick cuts from room to room!

It’s possible, probably the amount of adrenaline this dude has rn.

This was EXCELLENT. It's not easy to keep coming up with new sights and situations while maintaining the infamous Backrooms vibe, but you succeeded here. I really appreciated those highly-polished tile floors. They were a welcome change from the standard ratty yellow carpeting.
