Iron man not showing up in this film is a small nod to the fact that he’s dead
mm yes very subtle indeed, good eye!
made me laugh out loud
Wait Iron Mans dead ? Dude spoilers.
Only people with high iq notices this
best comment ever
In Spider-Man: Far From Home, if you look hard, you can see the characters of Woody and Buzz Lightyear on screen. This is a subtle nod to the fact that I accidentally walked into the wrong theater and am actually watching Toy Story 4
Oh okay cool
I literally laughed at this for like twenty minutes
@@bradynapolitano3223
Spoiler alert for the future continuation of Spider-Man:
Nick Fury will have Talos the Skrull, to look like Spider-Man, while Peter Parker will be next to him during a scene or 2.
Spiderman's identity saved.
@@MakoProductions321 It's not an accident, then.
It was *_fate_*
Luke Newcomb bruh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can't believe that third end credit scene where they teased Corn On A Cob-lin. Crazy.
martin wathen Corn On-A-Coblin #OfficialMCU confirmed by Kevin Fiere. What a tease indeed.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Main villain for phase 4
Corn of Cob-lin*
It’s Corn of Coblin smh
That part in the film where mysterio was revealed to be a bad guy is actually a subtle nod to all ever incarnations of the character as a villain
I love this comment.
SUBTLE
@@loreaver3882 Auto correct?
no it isnt, its just part of the fucking plot, ffs
ANGRON r/whoosh
Happy throwing the shield like Cap, but it not working.
"How does he DO THAT?!"
Or Spider-Man making a shield and hammer on the bridge at the end.
When Nick Fury and Maria Hill pull up to one of the fights with the elementals and the elemental hits their car it makes bullet holes in the windshield. Which is foreshadowing how they’re just drones.
I noticed the bullet holes too but didn’t put 2 and 2 together. Nice catch.
NICE. good eye, i didnt catch that!
And that's how Nick Fury know that Mr. Beck is lying
Sean Wei oh my god I didn’t notice that I though it was just rocks and I was confused
i tought it was debris, good eye.
With Jk Simmons playing J.Jonah again that means him Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno are multiversal cinematic beings.
Not really, since there is a multiverse this J Jonah could just be that universes J Jonah, with the others being in there universe along with there spider man
They are actually sentient beings. Some would call them..... WATCHERS
dennismaryanski I see what you did there
Who said versions of the same person in alternate universes can't look the same?
Tad Strange nobody
Anyone else found the part where Peter stared directly at the camera and said "Ello it's me Tom 'Olland!" a bit weird?
When, in the film?
Guessing it was a little inside joke seeing as tho their in london , still a bit strange
Beggin’ ya pardon Mr Feige
Oim spidermaaaaaan, me an me mates were strolling about ol blighty and a bloomin' spider came up an' bit me on me farthing snatcher.
"A bloody spider bit me right on the arse!"
Here's a fun reference I caught-
the movie title is "Spider-Man:Far From Home" which alludes to the fact that it mainly takes place in Europe, which is a far distance from Spider-Man's home in New York.
eh I think it's mostly a coincidence I doubt they would put that much effort into a minor detail that most fans wouldnt get
Wow sharpman
@TheThirdWheel rly
Max Seppelt holy fuck...
But is also filmed in London, which is where Tom Holland is from. So for Tom it's sort of a... homecoming.
I love how Peter using the holographic glove when building his suit and how it mirrors when Tony did the same thing
I loved it too but I hope they make Spider-Man his own character from now on rather than just being a second iron man.
And how Happy looks at him and smiles 😭
Arthur Morgan No idea why you all conveniently forget that Tony has been Peter’s mentor for years, even up to inspiring him to start his own tech company. He’s never been a second Iron-man. He’s Spider-Man, picking up traits from his mentor
@@ClawsMcgee820 ???? We know. We are just pointing out how sweet it is. Nobody is denying that Tony has played a major role in Peter's life, and how heartbreaking it is that he has lost him so early.
Arthur Morgan they’re setting him up as the next iron man as in like if you look at Tom Holland you immediately think Spider man like the same way with RDJ
One Easter Egg you missed was that the painting "False Mirror" by Rene MaGritte appears early on in the film, foreshadowing what is to come.
where did it show up?
I'll buy you a beer for that
During the final scene when spiderman used the sign and the bomb he was running like captin america with mjolnir
Yep. That was nice
I LIKE THIS OEN
Somedays you just can't get rid of a bomb!
He even used it like him
That was sick ngl
Peter Parker: I’m going to give this man I just met a drone army because he kind of looks like Tony Stark when he puts those glasses on
Daddy issues times 100
He was too handsome.
Lol to be fair, there's so many superheroes in this world you're bound to trust them. Tony gave Peter Parker a million dollar suit when he barely knew him AND he was like 14 years old.
@@Carlos-ln8fd 😂😂
Peter replicating Tony's knack for questionable decisions.
funniest scene is when mr harrington is explaining that his wife pretended to be snapped and they had a fake funeral for her but she just ran of with her hiking (i think) instuctor
great scene
Hiking instructor?
Amazing Spider-Man 143 is also the issue where he fights Cyclone, who the wind Elemental was based on.
Now whose middle name is 'Fartypants'?
Isn’t that the guy from the X-men movies who throws beams out of his glasses?

When Spider-Man gets beat up by Mysterio he falls out of a building and lands on a car. The car looks a bit like Raimi's Oldsmobile which is featured as the classic car driven by Ash Williams in Evil Dead but also by Uncle Ben in the Spider-Man trilogy.
And also Sam Raimi lost his virginity in that car.
Intensified Studios to your mom
Bruce Campbell (Ash) has alot of history with spiderman aswell. He was in all 3 original films aswell as narrator for the games based on those movies.

My brothers didn’t know Mysterio was the villain and it was fantastic watching their reactions
Missing reference: in the after credit scene with Talos in the radio song is one the songs from Chef the John Favreau movie. It seems Marvel I using Talos to give nods to the other films of notable actors in the movie. Last time we see Talos drinking from a cup as reference to Sam Jackson's Pulp Fiction.
Garrick Raigosa Speaking of music and credits, one of the songs is credited as “performed by Eugene Thompson” - aka Flash. Also, the “ASM 28965” plate is a reference to ASM #28, with a cover date of September 1965 (9/65).
There’s that one scene where spider man lands on the ground near the end, and he does the signature iron man pose, it’s a small but I noticed it and nearly cried.
Anthony Batista I mean, Spidey has always done that pose when he lands
Your profile pic got me dead 😂💀
Anthony Batista superhero landing I got happy too
That was not the iron man pose 😂
Standard superhero landing.

Mary Jane also gets thrown off a bridge in the Ultimate Universe. And in the Birthday storyline.
And Gwen Stacy's daughter also gets thrown off.
And Anne Marie.
Spider-Man doesn't have a good time with bridges.
What a fucking n...
He's lucky Jeff Bridges is dead.
@@JakeTehSnake I love the part where he calls fury the n-word
Didn’t he also lose his first encounter with Mysterio on the Brooklyn Bridge too
That's great but have you uhhh.... Ever thrown a prostitute off a bridge?
Techically mysterio has the same origin : disgruntled special FX guy / disgruntled hologram guy
Yup, he's always disgruntled
Tony Stark’s glasses showed up in Infinity War. Not endgame
Lemme say that in 2012 meme language:
Says endgame:
*SHOWS INFINITY WAR
They were on endgame. He used them to look in the elevator in 1970
Can you explain or talk about the fact that flash was waiting for his parents but never showed up? Any future storylines for him?
I was really hoping that, when he took that selfie at the end, he tagged flashmob or something as a shout out, cuz Peter knows flash is a huge Spiderman fan.
Before the movie ends, there is a green banner in background saying something like:
"We hope you are excited of what is to come" or something like that. It felt like direct message to audience of the movie.
Green Banner? This is also a subtle nod to the Hulk who is of course Green and named Banner.
Pretty sure a portion of the Avengers theme was playing when Peter was creating his costume Stark-style.
That was Iron Man’s theme I swear
I caught that too!
Guy Incognito 54:45 of this video is that moment. It’s when Peter is building his own suit on the jet. Kind of his “Ok-I’ve decided I’m committed to being an Avenger” moment:

6:50 Doctor Strange is Unavailable
Captain Marvel is "do not invoke her name."
I know, as soon as I heard that in the movie I was confused and wondered why he would say that (i still don't know why)
@@milorendon777 because he really respects her for saving the Skrulls and helping them and whatnot
@@milorendon777
Because a Skrull was impersonating Nick Fury, and the Skrulls worship Captain Marvel, for saving them.
@@oscarmccormack1611 oh ok thanks
If you look closely, you can see Peter with a passport in the movie. This is a subtle nod to the fact that he’s going on a trip.
The daily bugle was an internet conspiracy channel... he was supposed to be Alex Jones. How did you not get that one?
Not everything Alex says is a conspiracy. It’s nice to watch one of these where they don’t say that lol they usually all repeat the same bs in these Easter egg videos!
Like?
it makes more sense if its a news channel that way everyone believes it. nobody believes conspiracy shows unless you're that gullible.
@@final_boss1715 yeah, but the movie did say that the footage and Jameson's bit comes from "controversial news site Daily Bugle" so that's what it is
You missed the endgame reference on the bridge
Spider-man imitates Captain America when he yeets the bomb into the drone swarm.
@Bio Kimistry it's the pose and the motions he does. It's fairly obvious if you have a modicum of intelligence. Peter realizes he needs to be a larger hero and reflects on the heroism he was witness to at the battle and imitates captain america as a way to psych himself up and also to tell the viewer spider-man isn't just for friendly neighborhoods anymore.
The better reference is when Happy literally throws a shield and says how’s does cap make that look so easy
Nick Deavers thats not even a reference
Jay S but spider-man didn’t witness cap holding the shield and hammer because that was before everyone was portaled through
@@cutiesweetielove38 He's literally holding the Hammer and (half of the) shield when he tells the Avengers to assemble and starts charging... and Peter was definitely around to see that.
Mysterio’s comment about taking a “bullet to the head” is a direct reference to the Guardian Devil arc/series where Quentin Beck shoots himself in the head at the end.
During mysterio's illusion scene, in the part when spidey is inside a snowball, we can see a lot of buildings inside of it, including the one that was used as the daily bugle in the raimi films
I mean that's a pretty iconic building in New York in real life so that's probably more of a coincidence
Actually, it was Doctor Strange who was unavailable. About Captain Marvel, Fury said something along the lines of "don't even bring her up", but in the trailers it was edited as him calling Captain Marvel unavailable. Probably doesn't mean anything though, but maybe a subtle hint to Fury being a Skrull?
Specifically, "Fury" said 'don't invoke her name' which is a very understandable reaction considering Talos' history with Carol. It's probably the biggest hint the movie dropped to him being a Skrull.
As well as the Kree thing. I mean Fury could be busy with that, but it made more sense that a Skrull said it.

When she hit Peter with a banana is a reference to may having just been playing hide the banana with Hogan, with that same banana.
😂😂
I thought “nick fury” said not to invoke Captain marvel, because he is actually a scroll and good friends with her.
“Fury” actually says “Don’t invoke her name” when Peter suggests that they call Captain Marvel instead. (Such a badass line; my friend & I both went “Oooohhhh” when Fury responded with that.) I could definitely see Fury saying that, but when it turned out to be Talos… [chef’s kiss] Brilliant! After all, she saved his people.
Yeah I'm so happy they didn't show that one in the trailers
@@thedude2131 Whoa! Excellent catch!
Pretty sure when Peter starts to make his suit on the plane and he’s looking at Happy, on the screens to the right you can see a Spidey suit very similar to Miles Morales suit (dominant black with the spider as red).
By the way The Blip is not referred to the Snap, it's the name for when all the people who came back from the Snap and came back to existence.... or in that case Blipped back to existence.
I don’t know, I thought they said people didn’t survive the blip
Nope,they use blip for both.
That Fantastic 4 reference is an interesting one... and heck while watching I saw that poster but I didn’t think about Fantastic 4, until now. Hopefully your right about it and I would love MCU make a good Fantastic 4 movie...
Yea MCU always knows how to make every movie even remake the ones that bombed like the 2015 fantastic 4, they would turn it into a legend
You can also see the spider armour mk2 as well
Been waiting for this video thank you Mr Sunday Movies 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I thought the taped sign over Peters light switch that said "do not turn off" (or something to that effect) was a reference to the disastrous broadway spiderman play: "spiderman: turn off the dark"
tony stark made another villain even though hes dead is the most underrated observation in this vid
8:48 Wait, are there rumors that Andrew Garfield could be Johnny Storm? Because that could actually work...
that actually would be awesome
Flounderboy15
It’s a fan cast, a lot of people really want him to play Johnny
He’s way too old
yung tuna I like that casting better
@Bio Kimistry it would be weird for him to be in the same scene as mcu spiderman
I look forward to these videos so much after seeing MCU movies. I’ve been a big fan for years. Keep up the great stuff
This is my favorite channel on youtube thank you Mr. Sunday Movies!!! #SpaderMen
there was actually a broken captain america statue in the illusion scene
Also “A Town Called Malice” was playing when Peter and Mysterio are at a bar having a drink, which I assume is a nice little nod to Tom Holland’s history playing Billy Elliot
I cried when they started playing Back in Black on the Happy's plane! Really brought back memories.
Also, J.K Simmons as J.J.J. I'm soooo happy!
You and Nick have the most knowledge of any RUclipsr I have seen pertaining to Spider-Man, this week's...erm...Weekly Planet podcast was great, and I loved the Weird Versions of Spider-Man episode last week. Can't wait to hear you talk about ASM 1 and 2, there's aspects of those movies that really nail the character and I'm excited to hear you discuss it.
Pretty sure I saw a hologram(?) of a Goblin Glider scroll past when he was building the new suit
I think I saw what looked like the Black Knight’s (Nathan Garrett) armor in room with all the medieval stuff.
Kolin Karkosh I saw it too
This video was funny af😂, keep it up.
The “1, 2, 3...” could be the number of Spider-Man villains shown/confirmed so far (that being Vulture, Scorpion and Mysterio). Maybe “something big is coming” is a nod to a future sinister six?
I don't really see Vulture and Mysterio working together. They seem like completely different people.
I know the wrestlers name is Crusher Hogan but I think we all know his real name is BONE SAW!!!!!!! BONE SAW IS READYYYYYY
What about the part where Peter played with his webshooter before Civil War?
Solid video mate
Boi o love this vid good job
Black Widow and Vision were also in the memorial video. It bothered me a little they never brought back vision in alternate form from what Shuri was working on and Banner/Tony having 5 years.
Also the E.D.I.T.H. AI in the glasses was a fun thing. Even dead I’m the hero. Typical Stark.
I bet they will bring him back in the first episode of WandaVision
They will do, give it time.
No one cares probably but I believe zombified Iron man is the mark 46 which Tony used in civil war. Most likely significant because it was the first suit Iron man used when working with Spider-Man in the mcu🤷🏼♂️
Bassic 2000 I think it was the 47,as the mid section looks to be silver
i watched the entire video but always applaud timestamps. LIKE!
You and coffee . My new Sunday morning ritual. Thanks for the great content.
Austria. 'Take off your clothes, NOW!' That's Terminator.
The Daily Bugle isn't a cable show it's a "controversial website" a la InfoWars and Alex Jones.
"I don't like them putting chemicals in the water that gives the fricking frogs superpowers!"
@@TheHellion777 That's a false flag, man. They want us worrying about the frogs so we don't notice the hummingbirds!
In the final climax in London when Peter runs out of webbing, there's a shot where he holds a bit of a drone in one hand, and a car door in another, like a shield. Potentially a call back to the the shot of Steve holding the shield and Mjolnir in Endgame
The song that Skrulls Maria Hill and Skrull Nick Fury are listening to in the after credits sequence is "A Message to You Rudy" by The Specials. Possible chosen because it open with the line "Stop your messing around," right before they drop their disguises OR the fact that the Skrulls came to earth in the 90s and maybe developed their tastes in human music base on what was popular at the time - SKA.
you missed the nova easter egg with the scientist from thor, and the superior spider-man suit when peter's making his new suit
Noah Barden there’s also the Spider-Man MK1 suit in the lineup and the MK2 suit a bit after. I didn’t see the insomniac one though.
Did mysterio make up the earth 616 number? I remember it being on the chalk board off that scientist guy from the thor movies
Earth 616 exists, but MCU Earth is actually Earth-199999 Mysterio’s script writer wasn’t completely bullshitting he just doesn’t know it.
Credit for this Easter Egg one goes to my wife: During the scene where the class arrives at their dilapidated digs in Venice, you can see a ginger cat prowling around; could be Goose from Captain Marvel! Or at least a nod to Goose? Makes sense since we find out that the Skrulls have been with Spider Man the whole time.
Nice Video
Scorpion can get his revenge now.
What about the refrence to Micheal Joseph Jackson
That was some amazing drone footage
Good stuff
**Tony stark builds an arc reactor in a cave with a box of scraps**
Disgruntled employee William: "I'm gonna build my own arc reactor in a cave... with blackjack... and hookers"
There's a moment when they first arrive in Europe where a group is taking a picture and they all say "PIZZA TIME"
When Peter and Quentin are in the bar the song in the background is "A town called Malice" by The Jam which is featured in the movie Billy Elliott. Tom Holland played Billy Elliott in the Broadway show when he was younger.
It's really amazing how the comic book fans were able to catch those references in the plate numbers. Very cool!
It might just be coincidence, but the Fair from the comic panel 0:46 looks a lot like the fair where Molten-Man was fought, but I don't remember the swing ride in the film.
That's a gigantic stretch dude
Ned Leeds and Betty Brant going out was a nice nod to the comics where Betty breaks up with Peter
I think they also have a part in comics where ned and betty work at daily bugle
When the class were on their way to their hotel in Venice, Ned was taking Betty's photos, and the poses she made (specifically the second one) is reminiscent of the poses MJ made when Peter took her photos ("for the school paper") in their class trip to the Spider Research Facility in the first Raimi-directed Spider-Man film
6:10 loud equals funny
this is brilliant
9:22 Dayum MJ sounds like someone from south Sydney
I fear that Americans who watch this will rage because they don’t understand and are shocked by the casual use of the word by us Aussies.
Ben H as an American we’re all cunts
Yeah I was going to say how I'm starting to notice how iron Man seems to be responsible for all these grown ass men attacking a 16 year old child but then you pointed it out thanks a lot ben (I assume been is the one who edited this video)
One thing i noticed was in the final battle with mysterio when Spider-Man was on the floor he picked up a sign with one hand like a shield and a bomb tied together with webbing so it was swinging a little making Spider-Man resemble the scene from endgame where captain America wields both his shield and Thor’s hammer. Spider man even does a leaping kick that cap did in slow motion in the movie but of course in a much more awkward way.
Love this btw.
When Spider-Man had to close his eyes and trust his senses, I took that a nod to Luke in Star Wars since Peter is always referencing Star Wars.
Only channel I will hit the like before I even watch
Nick Fury laying down watching everything on TV in a Hawaiian shirt is a small nod to "This is a little below their pay grade"
The image that Nick Fury is relaxing to on the scrull ship is Tahiti from the Phil Coulson story arc in Agents of SHIELD

During the converation between spiderman and mysterio in the bar (handing over glasses scene) the song in the background was 'a town called malice' by The Jam - which was the theme song for the Movie and the west end theatre play for 'Billy Elliott' where Tom Holland played that character in the west end play version.
