Wonder of the Seas Port Canaveral FL

I’ve always been fascinated by cruise ships. Their sheer size is something that has always amazed me. One of my things on my “to do” list was to see the world’s largest cruise ship up close, with my own two eyes. Today was that day. I was finally able to see Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas which currently holds the record for the largest cruise ship in the world. What an amazing piece of modern engineering made by mankind. It’s one thing to see these monsters on TV. But it’s a totally different experience seeing them up close, in person. Especially when it’s the largest in the world. Wow, just wow!!!

The people on the top deck look so tiny. The length is 1,188 feet and can carry over 6,000 passengers. For comparison the new Gerald Ford Aircraft Carrier is 1,092 feet.
