Learning words from lyrics and memorizing many lyrics is definitely one of the best language learning techniques, though it should be combined with the other great methods, such as spaced repetition and using Google translate and Wiki whenever necessary - watching lots of vocab videos and lots of videos on grammar and prepositions / adverbs of time / conjunctions and verbs and pronunciation etc multiple times, over a period of time, and usually at least twice per session (or 2 or 3 times a day, every 3 days, and then once a week etc, until each word can be remembered and processed automatically, which is referred to as spaced repetition, and memorizing as many lyrics as possible and also translating each word one by one, and watching all videos with subs in the target language etc, are the best language learning methods!
