I am the self-proclaimed biggest freak for The Who and I think the remix was done well. Very progressive and with the same flavour as when done originally.
I'll admit, remixes often grind my nerves (especially if I think they're poorly done), but COME ON. Geez, it's not like the original has been erased. If you feel this remix ruined it, then go back and listen to the original! It's still there, you know, the remix didn't erase it. Why are people throwing tantrums because it was redone. Getting irritated is one thing, but to act like this forever tarnished The Who's memory is ridiculous. Calm down.
don't like it ? go fuckin listen to the original version!!! it's not an ofence they BRING BACK awesome tunes like that and revive them... specially for such a good cause like that... Daam man .. Hate much?
ruined? blah :D Ask some 15 year old what 'The Who' is. He'll ask you 'the what? who? who're you? wanna die?' And be sure he likes this stuff more than the original. Means it sells better and since this stuff is made to earn some money to donate it... This is a funny remix and for like 20 seconds you get the feeling you may even like it. if u dont know the original u will, if you do u will hate this.
@MangaFreak0 look man i'd put him second after jeff beck because after beck slash is the only one that can move me with one of his solos and make me go " WOW" so it's me it doesnt make an idot///
John's bass sounds so out of place. He would have disapproved. He hated rap. His ashes are probably rolling over in his grave. I think it is ok, but it should have never been messed with.
i saw that coming a mile away another awesome song butchered by today's shitty artists john entwistle is rolling in his grave in pain because this song exists
This is one of the worst covers I have heard, he couldn't just make a new song? I love the original My Generation and when I heard this song on that Super Bowl Commercial I knew he had ruined the original.
i love the who i used to love the black eyed peas, their last album sucked i love slash, but this is fucking terrible...dont care that it's for haiti, fucking terrible
I'm glad the Who came full circle to RnB!!
AWESOME!!!

I loved it. He took art and interpreted it as he saw it

Yes but they didn't need tunes now... My Generation is My Generation! Don't touch it!
@EvrenMusicY

it's different than I expected. I prefer the original Who version much better though

@mike20956 He says he hopes he dies before he gets old.
@madman1502 I know what he said. I was simply agreeing with him, etc.
why does he not talk about his generation instead of harking by to the 60s generation ?
ruined? blah :D

that wasnt too bad. i was expecting it to be shit.
hmm mixed feelings about this. I like the original better. it's just not my thing I guess.
Beats the Hilary Duff version.
This remix is mediocre if not that. But I have to disagree with Will.I.Am.
I do wanna die before I get old.
I am a big fan of the Who and their music, but this re-mix is terrible. I prefer the 1965 original to this.

Utter Shite. I'd like Keith Moon to blow this up.
DISGRACEFUL!!!!! As a devout fan of The Who's 60's material, I'm offended.
