Thanks for this! Your run through was very helpful, I always like a visual aid to help learn basic game play before I dive into the nitty gritty of the rule book.

A timely and terrific review! You shed light on a game I initially thought might be far too 'light'...but It does appear to have enough to warrant consideration. Thank you for this informative look at "Blue Moon: Legends".

Thanks heaps Joel. I couldn't have asked for a better review. Can't wait to get my spouse trained as a legend 😃

It's not one that's been on my radar. But, I'll look into it :)

Retrieve: if I understand the rules correctly, you can retrieve non character cards if your opponent has a retrieve card in play.

From the rulebook: "If his opponent has an active character card with the retrieve icon, the current player CANNOT return active character cards with the retrieve icon to his hand." -emphasis mine

Drive Thru Review Correct. But you could retrieve booster/support cards with the retrieve icon.

      Yes. That's right.

Played this game years ago and was so bored I've not even considered playing it again. For some reason I liked Knizia's "Scarab Lords" a lot better even though it feels like almost the same game. Scarab Lords felt a lot more aggressive and cohesive to me and you could actually win by getting all -dragons- pyramids to your side of the table.
