Awesome, I want this Mini-scale😘. Oh, seems I've ordered it already before the video😊 I like the color and almost picked it, but I've noticed with my Tonedrum, compare to my Ravs, it's more convenient to have a good contrast with the tongues, mostly playing in dim light conditions. Maybe modding some LEDs inside could fix that problem🤩
really nice sound! have a small request, if at some point you make take some time to explain how to make use of those harmonics on lower notes? either to hit the octave or fifth above, for instance? it would be interesting for instance, in a drum that doesn't have the F4 but has a C3, to be able to least suggest the F4 sound as the fifth above.
tonality sounds nice, though it's quite a riddle to find the principle behind the scale: the lowest note A does not occur again on any other step in the scale. Otherwise a pile of lots of triads...
It's mostly just a C# minor scale with the 6th remove from every octave except the lowest. It's something I experimented with on a piano for a while before landing on this. But at the end of the day it's just something that sounds nice to my ears and fits my style of playing! :)
@@Boolaahh Thank you, that makes sense, i could just retrace it. The omitted note "A" then appears only in the bass as A2. (I guess that confused me a little). Good luck with the instrument!

Sure, that's a good idea! I’ll try to record a basic course on sound extraction from the instrument. Hopefully, I’ll be able to explain it well.

@@Guitar56man Yea I can imagine without context it looks weird haha. Thank you!
