I have always loved David Wilkerson’s humbling himself before the people of God . Dr. Helen Roseveare, missionary doctor to the Congo, was the same way. As Brother Wilkerson stated in a sermon called, “Facing Our Failures”, we all stumble and fail; it is vital we see it and face it in order to repent. After receiving the Holy Spirit I began to hear His voice. I began to get arrogant too. Then I asked Him to show me myself as He knows me to be. He did. I was corrected and humbled for a month. Then I thanked Him for correcting me, and asked me to see Him more beautiful and powerful than all else. He did.

If a man of God has prayed and sought God for the message God would have him to preach, then there will be something in that message for everyone who hears it, because God knows who will hear it and will have something for everyone that hears it.
AMEN! This is why my Pastor seeks God for what to share and will even throw away his notes or power point to preach something entirely different -- all because Jesus tells him to. Even right before he gets up to speak, the Lord might tell him, "No, we aren't going in that direction...." and he will change it up that fast, to give us what Jesus really wants us to hear. This is so rare in a Pastor these days. If it wasn't for his (and David's) sensitivity to the Holy Spirit this wouldn't happen.
A true teacher and preacher will find himself or herself teaching herself and preaching something to themselves as well. That's the Holy Spirit among us. Meekness, humility, will be present in such people. I think he was such. To whom was the word of the Lord sent the man asked. For which the prophet said, Thou art the man. And there is a word for all who will hear. The Holy Spirit applies it to each person's circumstance. For those who will seek and hear.

I’ve heard this more than once and on time I’ve switched sifting screens to fine mesh removing that screen which is as large as a chain link fence. This journey will not stop until our death or the second coming. The word must be applied, you cannot apply it unless you’ve sifted that place for it. If you don’t apply, there is no need to continue on HIS path journey because you’ve taken your shortcut being special and all. Remember that part about self judgments, that must never stop either. Indeed I want a rest area on this journey, but not a plateau, the afflictions are many and they must never stop. Why? We are flesh first!

The church is not found in a building. It's called a personal relationship...not a club. If you was baptized, your still a part of the church of God which is in heaven and not of this world. I thought that too, but I think he had said that there had been (in my words)... some sort of indifference going on between this person and the elders over instruction. The thing is, elders are not above being wrong about interpretation of the word, or above being challenged for doctrines they are teaching; and asek the assembly, the body of ha Mashiach, should always be testing the spirits. If I had have approached the elders of that church and shown them that we are to keep the seventh day Shabbat and not the pagan Roman church first day... I too would be asked to leave, not because I refuse instruction from them, but because they refuse instruction from YHWH.

This message is timely because while America is yet seeking greatness again, it still has not come to terms with its sin and one of those sins is racism, which breaks God's royal law. I know that people don't want to address, but on the very day of judgement, God will judge it! It is better to repent now than later!
I had one issue with this word i.e. if people choose to walk away from the church because they refuse to accept reproof, the Pastor has no business telling those said people they should expect poverty and shame - he is indeed cursing those individual! The Pastor can release those in rebellion with other parting words and just pray that God deliver them from that rebellious spirit. He claimed that it's not his words it's the bible and yes it is but, we have to use wisdom when applying God's word; if he can say these things to believers, then he can also approach the unsaved and back sliders with the same principle - see how many souls will be saved with such approach!
I love Pastor Wilkerson, but he was wrong by telling people that: "you can expect poverty and shame when you leave the church". Our heavenly father will judge them, but not a pastor.

First off, if the preacher has wives plural, you're in the wrong church. Secondly, you don't go to the other members of the congregation to air your grievances about the preacher's personal business. That is out of order. Go directly to the preacher and no one else. Otherwise, yes, that is definitely gossip (Ephesians 4:29).

Laodocia was a church full of people who were wealthy, who didn't help nobody but themselves. As far as the homeless guy's condition. He knew he was a gambler and a drug addict. He was angry and resentful of the pastor having a home, a car, etc. Why? That is the question the pastor should ask himself. Why is this homeless man gambling his government check? Why is he using drugs? Maybe because he doesn't get enough to live on, and by gambling he thinks he can make more money. Maybe emotional pain or lack of opportunity and poverty have driven him to take drugs in the first place. Why not offer him a job, instead of food. Maybe let him stay in your guest house. Sounds like a ministry opportunity that the pastor missed. I'm sorry but people need more than food to stay alive. They need hope and a future.

AMEN! This is why my Pastor seeks God for what to share and will even throw away his notes or power point to preach something entirely different -- all because Jesus tells him to. Even right before he gets up to speak, the Lord might tell him, "No, we aren't going in that direction...." and he will change it up that fast, to give us what Jesus really wants us to hear. This is so rare in a Pastor these days. If it wasn't for his (and David's) sensitivity to the Holy Spirit this wouldn't happen.

A true teacher and preacher will find himself or herself teaching herself and preaching something to themselves as well. That's the Holy Spirit among us. Meekness, humility, will be present in such people. I think he was such. To whom was the word of the Lord sent the man asked. For which the prophet said, Thou art the man. In the qualifications for Bishops, deacons, elders, note that they speak specifically of men, and one particular qualification is to be the husband of one wife, if anyone can show me how a woman can be the husband of one wife I am all ears.

We are not to add to, take away from, diminish ought from, turn to the right or turn to the left nor alter God's word in any way period
As for so called rightly dividing, if God had intended His word to say as you have supposedly rightly divided it, then God would have inspired it to be written that way in the first place and left fallible man out of that loop.
God inspired His word they way He wanted it, and we have no right to come along and alter it to suit what we believe it ought to say.
God said it and that settles, and as Jesus said
Joh 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, *_and the scripture cannot be broken;_*
Psa 119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Rightly dividing is not a license from God to alter His written word to save your manmade dogma from the scriptures that do not play nice with your manmade dogma, "rightly dividing" is simply comparing scripture with scripture. and is why we have terminology such as "the synoptic gospels" or "Parallel passages" as they have been rightly divided by those who have called them parallel passages by comparing them.

I’ve heard this more than once and on time I’ve switched sifting screens to fine mesh removing that screen which is as large as a chain link fence. This journey will not stop until our death or the second coming. The word must be applied, you cannot apply it unless you’ve sifted that place for it. If you don’t apply, there is no need to continue on HIS path journey because you’ve taken your shortcut being special and all. Remember that part about self judgments, that must never stop either. Indeed I want a rest area on this journey, but not a plateau, the afflictions are many and they must never stop. Why? We are flesh first!

I have left a church the past couple years that is laodicean. They condemn me because I don’t want to be part of it.
The church is not found in a building. It's called a personal relationship...not a club.

Jesus exposes the synagogue of Satan
To understand the stream of time or the churches in Rev chapter 3
Who are they that call themselve jews but are the synagogue of Satan
Jesus has a stream of time for the birth of the Philadelphia church

The majority likes their luke warm comfort zone, and their not going to move out, not even for the truth
If the laodician church doesn't make a stand and accept the truth of Jesus christ,
then Jesus will move out of his place where he has a hand of security over the earth
For the father of lies will be at their door to devour them

I also felt that it was wrong for him to say that. Especially when he says ".... if/when you leave the church". It doesn't sit well with me.
I thought that too, but I think he had said that there had been (in my words)... some sort of indifference going on between this person and the elders over instruction.
The thing is, elders are not above being wrong about interpretation of the word, or above being challenged for doctrines they are teaching; and asek the assembly, the body of ha Mashiach, should always be testing the spirits.
If I had have approached the elders of that church and shown them that we are to keep the seventh day Shabbat and not the pagan Roman church first day... I too would be asked to leave, not because I refuse instruction from them, but because they refuse instruction from YHWH.

He was a thief murder and Jesus told and replied as of today you’ll be with me on the throne ! Praise God for his love and his mercy I know my mother is forgiven! Our savior Jesus Christ dies and rose again on the 3 day. I believe she believed even on her last breath so why should anyone say that can’t happen?!

This message is timely because while America is yet seeking greatness again, it still has not come to terms with its sin and one of those sins is racism, which breaks God's royal law. I know that people don't want to address, but on the very day of judgement, God will judge it! It is better to repent now than later!
I had one issue with this word i.e. if people choose to walk away from the church because they refuse to accept reproof, the Pastor has no business telling those said people they should expect poverty and shame - he is indeed cursing those individual! The Pastor can release those in rebellion with other parting words and just pray that God deliver them from that rebellious spirit. He claimed that it's not his words it's the bible and yes it is but, we have to use wisdom when applying God's word; if he can say these things to believers, then he can also approach the unsaved and back sliders with the same principle - see how many souls will be saved with such approach!
I love Pastor Wilkerson, but he was wrong by telling people that: "you can expect poverty and shame when you leave the church". Our heavenly father will judge them, but not a pastor.

And he did filful all the prophetic words spoken about his first coming that we find in the Torah and the prophets. Not one was left undone.
And Yahuwsha did bear the consequent guilt for our past transgressing done in ignorance, which was our guilt, what we were guilty of... Breaking YHWH's right instructions.
But if a person continues in their transgressing of YHWH's TORAH instructions, there remaineth no sacrifice.. for that person is trending underfoot the very blood of the Mashiach who voluntarily took upon himself our transgressing that we had done.
Allah the Allmighty do not sanctions on any mankind to approach the noble masseges of Allah with forcefully .Dien my koi jaber nehy .So when any body conviced the preechers believe truthfully satisfied tha massege He can say his prayers according the his belief .Wether that is mosques or church and any worshipper place or any forest lonely place he can request to the Allah the Allmighty .Allah givehim blessings .

If you're talking about a preacher's issues with his wives to your congregation is that gossip?
First off, if the preacher has wives plural, you're in the wrong church. Secondly, you don't go to the other members of the congregation to air your grievances about the preacher's personal business. That is out of order. Go directly to the preacher and no one else. Otherwise, yes, that is definitely gossip (Ephesians 4:29).
He used the situation as example of hypocrisy. He did not mention the preachers name. Judge right
@@HeartheLionsRoar Gossip in the church is a very real and very toxic issue though. I hope it encourages people who do engage in gossip to try a different path. Gossip is a sin in the bible, clear as day.

Laodocia was a church full of people who were wealthy, who didn't help nobody but themselves. As far as the homeless guy's condition. He knew he was a gambler and a drug addict. He was angry and resentful of the pastor having a home, a car, etc. Why? That is the question the pastor should ask himself. Why is this homeless man gambling his government check? Why is he using drugs? Maybe because he doesn't get enough to live on, and by gambling he thinks he can make more money. Maybe emotional pain or lack of opportunity and poverty have driven him to take drugs in the first place. Why not offer him a job, instead of food. Maybe let him stay in your guest house. Sounds like a ministry opportunity that the pastor missed. I'm sorry but people need more than food to stay alive. They need hope and a future.
