- At the 2021 World Golf Championships-Workday Championship, Collin Morikawa earned his fourth PGA TOUR victory with rounds of 70-64-67-69, finishing 18-under par at The Concession Golf Club.

After a relocation from Mexico, the season’s first World Golf Championships event heads to Bradenton, Florida, opening the PGA TOUR’s Florida Swing of 2021. The World Golf Championships - Workday Championship at The Concession features a stout field led by reigning FedExCup winner Dustin Johnson, while Patrick Reed - a winner already this season - looks to defend his WGC-Mexico title from a year ago. Rory McIlroy goes in search of the final leg of the ‘WGC Slam’, while Bryson DeChambeau will be hoping to replicate the form he saw when he won the NCAA Championship at The Concession back in 2015. Other contenders in the field include Jon Rahm, Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau and Justin Thomas. Three golfers eligible but not teeing it up at The Concession are Paul Casey, Brandon Stone, and Tiger Woods.

So true. 20+ years ago O’Meara gave Tiger advice about distance control and always look to be pin high no matter the accuracy.
Tiger worked on it and became the greatest iron player of his generation.
And now O’Meara just gave the best iron player today a way to take maximum advantage of his approach play.

@@smartwater598 I know nothing but I like to do imagine it is like a circle with the diameter being the pin and you want the ball to be inside the area of the circle. Could be completely wrong though

To be honest…I must say as someone with Asian background, I am very proud to what Collin has been achieving so far….It’s a clear evidence that unlike most of other sports, doesn’t matter of what you are, how athletic, fast, or weather you are young, slim, tall, short, muscular, fast; or not, as long as you are healthy, focused and determined, you can actually achieve everything,…. …at the end of the day….golf should keep you healthy….
There are sports that require you to be 6’8” 220 lbs and muscle like iron man, and others which require you to run like wind…or playing with balls like a magician……or taller and bigger is better…….but not golf…..you can be an average 5’8 or 6’4”…it doesn’t matter….. you can be 25 or 40……. what does matter is how healthy and determined you are….
I think Golf is definitely the most fair sport on the planet ..….that what makes me fall in love with it…

Collin and Rory have the best swings. The difference is Rory drivers far, and Collin putts better. Both are great players.

Collin is much better. Rory is the best driver in the world, maybe the best ever, but irons are more important and there's no comparison. Rory is a below average short iron player, and those are the scoring clubs.

@PGA TOUR It's not "Morakawa", it's "MoRIkawa". the RI has a soft 'd' sound. If you said "MoDIkawa", you'd be closer at the correct pronunciation.......
