If you’re gonna do more For Honor stuff, I recommend watching all the Season Trailers! The Launch Trailers are also pretty dope.

Season trailers are very creative and cool
The cool thing about the Vortiger-Event (9:30) was, that it was actually based on the results of the faction war: by playing matches you earn troops that you can place on a world map, to either defend regions your faction already holds or capture regions from other factions.
In one season of the faction war, like the trailer described, the knights managed to defend and hold a region, that was completely surrounded by the samurai and viking factions, the developers then took that result of the faction war as a baseline for the event.
I enjoyed watching that in game even as a Viking, Mad respect for you tin cans

Same with shadows of hitokiri the Vikings always won the faction war then that season the samurai snapped the streak when they tried to take dead shades (the place where the hitokiri event takes place) and it all turned on the Vikings but yes all the harbinger events (includes black prior jormangunder (tho they did join the warmongers, and hitokiri ,besides zhanhu) are based on real events that happen in-game by the player base
As someone who has been playing the game since day 1, this was a huge hit to the nostalgia gland.

I'm really glad that you guys are checking at more For Honor content. I would suggest checking out the Season trailers or even the cinematics of the Story mode so you get full context of Apollyon and her influence in the future of Heathmoor and the current events that are happening on the lore.

The issue with that is the fact that the full story mode is an hour and a half worth of cutscene, maybe more, so it would likely have to be cut into multiple different videos. I would love to see it as well, but there are scheduling complications.
We hope to play through the story mode on the channel in the future 🙂
Sword nerd here to say that the flamberge style blades (swords with wavy blades like you mention in 11:50) are not made to screw up a person's insides. If you are in any point before the last hundred years and you get a sword into a person's abdomen, they're dead 99.9% of the time whether you use a curvy bladed sword, a regular sword, a spear, a dagger, a kitchen knife, a pointy stick, or even the antler of a particularly peeved deer. The wavy sword design started showing up around the 15th century onward, at a time when the dark ages were long past and warfare was dying down, while the self-centeredness and obsession with status symbols and fashion rose drastically. Wavy swords were made essentially for the same reason as people buy Supreme or Gucci, because it offers no practical benefit but it's more expensive and prestigious. Hopefully this doesn't read as critical or rude as I meant it as informative and lighthearted. Love the videos!

It’s very nice to see reactions to this game, it’s actually not as popular as you might think. It had a lot of players when it released in 2017 but has slowly declined over time. My guess for people leaving as that the game is brutally hard 😂 but very fun when you get good at it!

Glad you enjoyed the reaction. We heard that the game has a brutal learning curve which is probably why we would just do the story campaign for it as we suck at multiplayer in general haha 🤗

Actually fun fact supposedly the waves blade of a the prior's sword was theorized to cause more vibration in an enemies sword when the user parried or blocked an attack. I don't know if that's true but that's what it was theorized to do!
No. Waves in a blade make it easier to pull free after lodging deep into an enemy.

I need to say that this game, while surely as violent as actual war, doesn't contain as much carnage as I thought. Not a lot of gore. You can see blood, but little to no disembowlments or eviscerations or anything to that effect. Heads get chopped off, but not much else.
Believe they probably did that to not get blocked in some countries much like Dead By Daylight does 🤔
the dive with the blade execution may fit an shaman better but I think shugoki does it better
