A couple of factors to think about when using a ledger of what each country has contributed--this accounting does not include the damage done by suddenly halting aid. Restoring it alone won't make up for the fact that a reliable source of aid turned into a hole in the ground overnight. Going forward, any aid from the US could disappear at any moment. This impacts Ukraine's strategic war planning immensely. It devalues future aid, makes it less effective, because it can't be counted on in the future. This will persist long after the war ends, and for other countries we help. It's harder to put a dollar value on the damage so it doesn't get brought up. We can thank Mike Johnson for weakening America.

Col Leighton suggested the 150,000 new ruzzian recruits would be used as cannon fodder, interviewer replied‘fascinating’, this is the problem with so many people, they hear, but are not listening! Comprehend that, 150,000 as cannon fodder, they are willing to do that to their own people to achieve their goals, sickens me to think what they will do to everyone else if they do achieve their goals, and we are complicit

Just a note regarding Colonel Layton's remarks: The 150k recruits will be conscripts. The russians have been reluctant to send conscripts to the front. 'Conscripts' are different from 'mobilized' (they're supposed to be at least). The mobilized certainly do get sent to the front as "cannon fodder", but again, the conscripts are not sent to serve outside russian borders, for the most part. It is troubling, however, because the newly occupied regions of Ukraine are now considered integral parts of the russian federation - so, it may be possible that these conscripts could be sent to the occupied territories in the future.

@chrisviking7807 including soldiers? I've been hoping they could pull it off this whole time. But realistically their only chance was the sentiment in Russia changing enough for them to stop. That's not happening and Ukraine is running out of people. At this point it's in their best interest to stop. Them continuing only weekend Russia for the benefit of the West in case Russia decides to keep going. But at this point let's not pretend it's going to help them.. unless you want to send soldiers. But Putin has made his nuke threats and the West is scared.
