my videos take a long time because of all the research to get as much information as i can and FOI requests take time. I'm waiting of the results from a FOI request's and then ill be making more video's i don't want to just go and look for a reaction.
You dont need another MOT you should be served with a VDRN (vehicle defect rectification notice) form which requires confirmation that the vehicle repair had been carried out.

Having now watched the rest of the video, and heard what she was saying, I guess I am right. This stop hasn't got anything to do with a brake light being out. Her car is definitely marked.

An M.O.T isn't any guarantee of a vehicle's roadworthiness AFTER the M.O.T took place. The tester can only pass or fail a vehicle AT THE TIME OF THE TEST!!!!!! This cop doesn't know the law.

A brake light bulb or any other bulb can blow at any time during a journey so a check could have been carried out before setting off & yet a driver could still be pulled up for a faulty light.
Takes me back 20 years when I got pulled over and got a ticket for not having an MOT......as I was on my way to the MOT station. No amount of explanation that it was allowed in law would dissuade him. He thought that the only legal way to get the car to the garage was on the back of a low loader.
Fortunately a visit to the police station was all it took to get the ticket cancelled.

As far as light check every time you get in a car is all well and good but you light bulbs can blow at anytime even just driving down the road you brake light bulbs can blow can blow…. How many times have we seen police cars with a bulb gone and they check there’s every shift ….. this officer has mad her get a £50 mot just because of a bulb is not police work HE could of just told her to go Halfords and take receipt to station …. OFFICER IS WRONG ON MOT REQUEST

Proper cops would only get you to change the bulb and get you to show it working also are the police allowed to take your license away as this could be photographed and used in Identity fraud

I do agree bulbs do go at anytime and most vehicles will give you a warning light when it one does go out or it I sensors are Las voltage going to a light.
