I'm not going to lie the challenge loses a little bit of sauce when viewers are doing these favorable of trades with you. Still enjoying it and that doesn't change the work you put in the trenches of these second hand stores all the time, but it just seems less repeatable by a normal person lol.

That’s what I’ve been saying since 15 vids ago lol. Same with his eBay etc. He’s a influencer in the shoe community so it’s just not the same.
I've done trading on TB, and that shits rough. Everyone wants "in their favor" and rarely willing to cut deals....especially for used. Doubt I could get these exact trades myself.
If the bred 11s are from 2012, they might be real. Those were from before the remastered series. So one side comes with a Jumpman that’s facing the wrong way.

Also the size tags looked way different in 2012. The only thing is the cut of patent leather was thinner on the 2012s, the pair he got looked to have the newer higher cut. Hopefully they're the 2012s

With the turtle doves you could tape off the upper use some acetone to take off the white paint and then paint them the right color because the midsole being white is very off putting for buyers since it could be very easily be seen as fake

thats exactly what i was thinking, a little elbow grease in taking off the paint with acetone and repaint the correct tone with a nice clean up should increase value cause can label it as a resto

actually if you go to a thrift store enough and build relationships with the folks that work there you can really make shit happen. I’m normal as hell and I used to do exactly that when I was looking for video games at my local thrift stores every other day. They’d sometimes let me see shit before they even put it out and a lot of the employees knew exactly what I was looking for so they’d let me know if something came in.
I would definitely double check the bred 11s Seth! The 2012 versions are different from the 2019 and that pair you picked up looks like it matches the 2012 version!

Love this series and have been lucky enough to be a small part of it. I think you’re doing a great job and I kinda understand where some of the other people commenting are coming from as far as you getting favorable trades. Maybe a burner account wouldn’t be a bad idea because I think it does lessen the series when the trades are such in your favor. It’s sort of like the Harrison nevel trade up series when he trades a shoelace for a vintage tee knowing damn well nobody else getting that. Not trying to hate tho and really love the series

Love this series but I will say if you weren't a "big named youtuber" I highly doubt you'd get such favorable trades on trade block. Nothing against you, but if you had a burner tradeblock account or some place to sell that the person didn't know it was you, this series would be very different, at least trade wise.

Seth, I just wanted to say that the series taught me a lot about how to deal with eBay dealers and how to get the best deal. In addition I think you need to include the cost of the detergents you use so that if someone wants to do something similar he can calculate the costs.

Tip for legit checking jordan 11 highs: the ball on the logo must go in between the 23 on the back.
Example: at 23:03 the fake is way above the middle of the 23, however the authentic pair is between the 23
Another tip: the carbon fiber must feel bumpy, if it feels smooths like plastic, its faken then.

Man, the net profit this week was rough. Have you ever divided the net by the amount of time and materials it took to do all that work? It's got to be like $2/hr. Where is your cut-off point for deciding if the work is worth the profit? A lifetime ago, I used to sell books on Amazon and I had to figure out the value of my time. Once I figured that out, I left a lot of small profits on the bookshelf. It just wasn't worth the time and materials.

Can you remove the paint with acetone? Try taping off the sole with painters tape, clean the acetone with acetone or paint remover?

once you complete this series, you should try to do it again but without including the eBay shop in the video , just to see the difference
Just a quick tip when it comes to 11's. Try and fold both the real and fake pair in half. The real pair is hard to fold because it has the carbon fiber plate. When you try and fold the fake pair they will crumble in your hands because they use plastic on the bottom instead of carbon fiber. That's why they feel lighter.
Some reps are almost 1:1. Especially the top batches. You have to be careful not to get scammed.

My first thought as well. eBay switched to 8% on sneakers over $100 which is still better than the whatnot fee. If it’s under $100 I still think there are no eBay fees. Leaving money on the table BUT also not dealing with lowball offers or buyers not paying. Pick your poison I guess.

Vaporfly Next% 2 is the fastest race shoe in the world. They are never discounted (always excluded when Nike has some kind of a sale on the website= and before this year also very limited in supply. So if a pair is used once or twice you can sell it for good money.

Right over the bridge Washington township New Jersey Burlington coat factory has two pairs of 4D fusions each one they're like 50 bucks.. and for the soles on the sneaker get non-acetone nail polish remover and very gently little bits at a time just slowly take it off Even in it's original condition even if it's messed up it's still going to be worth more than if they're painted..
