I love that you made this video. My great great grandparents in the Ozark foothills would plant and harvest crops based on the cycles of the moon. Annual flowers and plants like corn, watermelon, and tomatoes were planted during the waxing of the moon. Plants like potatoes and carrots were planted in the Waning of the moon. They planted their crops that way because it was the way their parents planted and their parents before them. Most people plant based on average frost dates now, but many of still know the old tradition of moon gardening. I would love to see this old practice be revitalized.

How cool. I didn't even know Moon Gardening was a thing.
I happen to be a night owl, so I instinctively leaned in that direction at one of my past homes, because I wanted to be able to SEE the garden when I sat out there at night.
The only plants I can remember for certain were white impatiens and dusty miller. I'm in Los Angeles and impatiens are perennials here. LOL
I LOVE Moon Gardens. :-) Now I wish I had a yard where I am now.

Jay Tee it has been so much fun learning about moon gardens these past couple of years and figuring out what works in Florida. I have white plumbego, white lantana, white firecracker and several types of jasmine. Plus tea olives, gardenias and sweet almond for smells.

Awhile back I too went to order one online from here in New Zealand but they were either out of stock or I thought they were abit pricey -so! I saved the image, I took out the background and printed it out -It was quite large and I didn’t want to ruin the quality so I printed it over two A4 pieces of paper on my printer at home -cut them out and glued them together, then I went to the local printshop and got copies made on card stock. To make one calendar cost $3 at the most. I also got a box of the pins so I can use it as a functioning pinwheel
You just need to make two copies for the pinwheel layers
Also I’m just learning now about planting when the moon is in different zodiac signs -some are barren/good for weeding, other signs are good for planting different foods -super interesting stuff

Also -I’ve noticed Americans line up their calendars to the full moon? The new moon is what I set mine by as it’s the first lunar day of the month

Alas, when I followed the link to the moon-calendar (Summer, 2020), the page was unavailable. I'll have to find a way to create something as useful as what you hold.

Really enjoyed your video and the explanation of the moon garden. Do you have any more information on how to make and what to write on the dial? I did check the site you referenced and they are no longer maintaining their domain, so it is no longer available. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thank you so much and God Bless. 01.21.2024

I recommend not putting an ad so early in the video, so that the viewer doesn't get discouraged off the rip. Unless that wasn't you who put the ad there.

2: 189. *They ask you about the new moon. You say: “It is the timelines for mankind and the pilgrimage. And there is no virtue for you entering the houses through the back doors, but indeed, the virtue is in becoming heedful, and you enter the houses through their proper doors, and you heed Allah, so that you may become prosperous.*
The Impartial Lord has given man the freedom either to be grateful or ungrateful. So, anyone who transforms his Jinn soul-mate mentioned in verses 43: 36-39 into a believer with the Permission of the Lord Adhikr, can keep the Lord in his heart and become heedful.
“You enter the houses through their proper doors” means a man should have an open and straight attitude in every subject without any crookedness, and be conscious that the Lord is the Acquainted Observer of everything. Verses 3: 130, 200; 5: 35, 90, 100; 7: 69; 8: 45; 22: 77; 24: 31 and 62: 10 also end as: “So that you may become prosperous”.
The aimless hypocrites and their heedless followers are keeping Kafir Satan in their hearts. So they are the people to the Hellfire among mankind as told in verse 15: 44. These Fujjar even didn’t know the fact that days are not changing anywhere in the world. So they are observing fasting, pilgrimage, and Eid on different days all around the world. See explanation 2: 1-5, 150-152, and 4: 150-151.
