In this video, a MAN A95 Euro 6, is on 883. Looks cool that the EDS is glowing!
In 2017, as part of the Bus Contracting Model, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) made further purchases of MAN A95 (or MAN ND323F) buses, on top of 122 units procured between 2016 and 2017. This is the fourth batch of MAN A95 buses to be built for the Singapore market.
Under Contract PT337 (Procurement of 250 MAN Buses) which was awarded to ST Kinetics, both Euro 6 MAN A22 buses (100 units) and Euro 6 MAN A95 buses (150 buses) were ordered. An option for 150 more MAN A95 Euro 6 buses under this contract was also exercised by the LTA, cumulating in a total of 250 Euro 6 MAN A95 buses.
The fifth batch of MAN A95 buses, with 111 units under the Euro 6 Double Decker Bus tender (PT322) entered revenue service on 30 March 2020.
These buses are Euro-VI compliant and are bodied by Gemilang Coachworks with the MAN Lion’s City DD bodywork. Also in compliance with new LTA specifications, buses are equipped with a suite of new features, such as Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS) and two wheelchair bays.
