Welcome to the 100th episode of the MHC 🔥A very special video for me, where we show +1 month of work in our house. It is crazy to look back to where we started and see where we are standing now. Seeing the progress we have made in our building skills, filming/editing, to the overall confidence of knowing that nothing can stop us. This the proof that SHOWING UP EVERY DAY changes your life. If you are curious to see the progress by yourself:

It's the quality of the storytelling, the craft of keeping us enthralled.

Masses of respect to you both by ‘keep showing up’ Pepe and Eugenia … and keep your spirits high too. Great work you’re both doing 👌👍👏👏 That shot with all the rebar completely raised, is a great photograph 👏👌 Re the sunken floor, and water puddle, have you thought about making some form of tent with a wooden pole, maybe 2m high fixed to the floor in the centre? Like a pyramid 👍
    ‘We are 49 mins, 31 secs = 1 month’ 💪👏👌.

thank you very much, we did try building a tent over it, 3 times, in different ways, one doing a pyramid shape similar to what you suggest, they did not last long with the winds we experience over here unfortunately. i am just waiting for summer to arrive and be able to close the house up before the rain comes back again in October!

Hei there. Kudos to all of your hard work. I'm not expecting that it will come through you, but if it does this two comments might help.
Two things - Please move your burned in subtitle either on top or bit up so that it does not clash with RUclips's subtitle (captions) position. Cause now each time when YT and your captions clashes I have to disable YT captions, rewind video, read your captions, then enable YT captions.
And second, not sure whether you're still asking for that opinion, but please leave your mistakes in videos and talk about them cause that's the only way us newbies can learn. And don't worry about haters commenting, they have far bigger issues with themselves.
Keep up amazing work and thank you for spending such big amount of energy documenting it and sharing it with us.

SCC .... Self Compacting Concrete (Self Consolidating Concrete) is the ideal choice for situations like the shallow floor slabs involving intricate fill requirements like your situation, a little more costly, but worth the ease of install, no vibrating needed, and very little leveling required and you get a superb finish, with little trowel work. I used it on my workshop build and was impressed. Keep up the work, your are learning a lot .... 💪

Do I understand that your workshop will not have radiant heated floors? In our Colorado home the biggest mistake I made was not putting the radiant floor heat in my workshop because at some point I had to use my workshop for my job and it was COLD! I understand that Portugal is not nearly as cold as Colorado but my wife reminds me of my mistake at every opportunity, including when watching this video. Hahaha! Now we live in a high rise condo in Japan and I have no workshop. I miss that more than anything. I love watching your videos of building your dream. We are old but it is inspiring to use just the same.

Good evening friends, unfortunately, I lost my RUclips account a year ago, but now I'm back and finally found you. I hope you are in good health. I only wrote these words after following your house construction series and reaching this video. Now I can congratulate you on this tremendous effort and achievement. Honestly, I like to do all my work myself, but I cannot accomplish a project of this size and beauty like you did, mashallah. I hope you continue to be strong and make progress on this project. We are behind you, supporting and encouraging you until your house project is completed. You must know that some people may be envious or sick and try to discourage you from continuing your work, but do not worry. Keep going, enjoy a smile while you work. I wish I could be there to work with you and help you implement it, but unfortunately, the distance between us is about 4000 kilometers and more. But you are strong, so keep going. Best of luck and continuous success to both of you.

Incredible progress! Could you share the house plans / site plan again? Keep wanting to refresh my memory but not sure which old video to find it in.

Fantastic episode as usual. Beware of too much zoning. You want to achieve 400% efficiency with heat pumps. Heat Geek are a uk based company and they teach a lot about heat pumps and efficiency. They even provide quite an extended course on the subject which I think I’m going to take when it comes to designing my underfloor heating & heat pump installation. They also have a RUclips channel. Zoning is something they teach you have to be very careful about. Many installers love to fill houses with thermostats and actuators. I’ve decided to go for weather compensation only. Well done to you both once again

Pepe, you have concrete in your beard, man! lol. I have made it to this point after watching all the vids from the small cabin build until now. I have suffered through it, w/you, sometimes yelling at the screen as though you could hear me. I don't know if I love what you do or how you do it more. But on your next merch, please put Mr. Cachola with one hand on his fanny pack and the other on the tube and one leg leaning against the form titled " Get yourself a Cachola", on a hoodie.

Well you will be missed but not forgotten... you have an amazing project cant wait to see it unfold. but for now take some rest, the pressure of having to film to send a vid is extremely hard, most ppl don't get it...
