People now a days don't know how to deal with disappointment and not getting what they want. They prefer to kill those who they feel owe them something and any bystanders who saw them do it. You can treat people kind everyday and still end up a victim of a teen or an adult throwing a violent temper tantrum. Please watch your surroundings and be safe, everyone. I agree. There are times in your life when you are going to get disappointed and rejected. Its how you handle your disappoinment is what matters. His father tried to get him help but he got mad and walks away. Very immature. His uncle said McRae was a paranoid schizophrenic. His mom died in 2020 and that was when he went off the rail. He decided to get angry at the world, withdraw and play video games all day. What kind of life is that?

The father said in a different report that his son was also a mama's boy who became angry and "evil" when his mother passed away even though his sister stated that he often "lashed out" at his mother. Sounds like an entitled, overgrown child who was accustomed to being catered to until his mom passed away. 3 accomplished young people killed and 5 others severely injured because he felt slighted....no sense of personal responsibility. So senseless.

An awful whole lot of people walking around with so much pent up anger , feelings of hopelessness, misery,desperation to fit in somewhere, inability to face what is really going wrong with themselves,in denial so on need to snap out of it and find out what makes them happy and fulfilled before more innocent lives are taken. The denial and lack of desire to find out what the problem really is lying inside of them is part of the problem. Happiness comes from within not in being accepted by outside sources or material gain. Gratitude to still be alive for one thing ! All else is either a temporary problem and a temporary solution. We have got to slow down and think things out before we act. No temporary problem should be solved by a permanent mistake that one can not undo.

I'm an introvert, and because of that I don't fit in and society has rejected me. Funny thing is, I have absolutely no desire to fit in, everybody is the same. I wouldn't want to live without my insatiable curiosity about the world and the universe, that's my saving grace, I absolutely love to learn and I have an amazing imagination to boot... If the students want the option of finishing the semester online they should definitely have that opportunity! Some students I’m sure were traumatized by this incident and until further safety measures are put in place they should not be forced to return if they don’t want to.

The system failed yet again. He was on probation during which time he wasn't allowed a gun, then after it was finished he was taken off the watch list and was able to purchase a gun. He was known to be psychotic. Smh...
We live in a society it is so darn difficult to explain what on earth is going on with people these days 🤦no it's not an age issue because there is plenty in all ages of good as well as completely out there. Sorry I have a lot to say on this topic as a whole. This is not an attack on this particular individual it is an attack of fatal permanent choices people make due to lack of anger management and self control so basically it is a critique of all mass shooters as a whole inclusive of this one but not just this one. I’m a senior at msu, a lot of students want classes to continue online after this shooting many student don’t feel safe. There were shootings off campus last semester too right next to the bars. MSU needs to improve security as many buildings are outdated in that aspect

The Campus entrance into the building needs to be upgraded for better security. Why doesn't the door have digital type system like hotels do. Issue out one of those cards that has to be swiped in order for the door to open. At, least that will keep people who don't have a chip card can't have access to get into the building. That's what I would like the administrator to use to keep students safe. Just a thought. 🤔🤔🤔

The organization would be members nationwide. The members would be “eyes & ears” of the community alerting upper levels of management of people living normal lives that could use some people demonstrating a loving hand in their lives. Like buying them a “decent used car” or to a “decent new car”. Maybe pay their rent for a year? These selections will have to be scrutinized and ensure enabling drug use isn’t gonna happen with selected people.
