Looking forward to it! Friedrich Murnau's original, "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror", is one of my all-time horror movie favourites, I have nothing but the highest praise for it. While not being quite as innovative, obviously, its first remake in colour, "Nosferatu: Phantom of the Night" by Werner Herzog, is yet again a haunting and atmospheric masterpiece of gothic horror. Robert Eggers is a filmmaker who has masterfully crafted his own niche of highly unique, character-driven author/director arthouse movies which, each in their own way, brilliantly marry multiple genres, namely: historical period piece, religious social drama, psychological character study, suspenseful interpersonal thriller, mythological horror film, and all of this in such a way that each of these multifaceted and variable genre readings and styles, with all their artistic and symbolic and technical choices they bring to the table respectively, will inform the other ones, so that we end up with different but interrelated layers of meaning. So that is why I am all ready for remake number two of "Nosferatu", this time by Robert Eggers, who hopefully will bring his unique style to this tale as well.
@@paweldik3193 no we don't need any more batman films or really any super hero films for that matter. Talk about a dead horse. Eggers has his niche and he should stick to what he does so well.
Some noteworthy vampire movies: "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror", "Count Dracula" (BBC 1977), "Nosferatu: Phantom of the Night", "The Hunger", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "The Wisdom of Crocodiles", "Thirst", "The Last Voyage of the Demeter".
Looking forward to it!

Great Review! We need a Eggers gothic Batman with a Dafoe Joker
@@paweldik3193 No. We need directors like Eggers to make original or personal projects. Not waste his talent on superhero slop.

Nice Review My Friend!😊
I loved The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Draculas design in it to me, is my faverite.

Awesome review by you! I can't wait to finally get to see this.
The cinematography In Nosferatu is excellent.
Except for a few minor complaints, This was a solid 8.5/10 to me
The movie 🎬 was absolutely terrible. A watered-down version of Bram Stokers Dracula. 🤓
@@alphaomega1351 this is not Bram Stokers Dracula, it's Nosferatu.
Different stories, different movies
