- Robert Eggers delivered a new rendition of a tale as old as time in an awesomely rich and dark way! An excellent entry into vampire subgenre with lots of beautiful imagery!

Powerfully puts the psychology of it all front and center. Add to that great visuals, and we’re in a new gothic era. Truly spellbinding.
@@zitrandy agreed, more movies like this please! 😊
This is my favorite vampire film of all time!
@@justinhowell8873 That’s what I’m talking about 🧛🏻
Mine too.
Nosferatu 2024 is a once in a generation film. I’m so glad that I was in the generation who got to experience it first. I am from the generation who also seen The Exorcist and Texas Chainsaw Massacre at the theater, all be it as a little girl, when nobody cared about the effect that a movie might have on a child. A strong dose of fear taught me to stay on the straight and narrow.
@@anitarichmond8930 agreed, it was amazing to get to see it come to life in this new era. In a way that’s kinda how I felt about the substance since that too in my opinion is a once in a generation film. 😊
This is the best analysis of the new Nosferatu I have read. Thank you!
@@ireneleung5644 thank you so much, I really appreciate that! 😊
In my top 5 movies of all time.
For me, I've watched this movie 7 times in the cinema and That's something I don't do. Masterpiece
@@craig0weston20 definitely a masterpiece, this movie rocks 😊
Love your review, also yes, Simon McBurney as Knock was outstanding! He went from a Dickens-like victorian gentleman to such a chilling performance, his transitions were masterful.
@@kostantza1 thank you so much! And I completely agree, what a performance from him. 😊
Nice analysis. Thank you.
@@dewittcheng4009 thank you! 😊
He's name is Orlock
They're called title cards.
You barely see him out of the dark anyway
@@lukebarnes3157 yea you are right, but idk that’s something I appreciate it because it worked well the mysteriousness of him.
You mean "historically correct wardrobe".
@@SwissCheese667 yea, I love that aspect of the movie. 😊
@@PrimeTimeScreams I do too.
Witch dreadful, is this good or a snoozefest?
@@DaveDoran I think it’s quite good. 😊
spoiler alert!
Love that review. Short and on point. I just came out of the cinema. Terrible acting, wasted potential of Dracula, boring, no action.
Even Renfield with the same actor was better. And Depp's daughter acts just as badly as her father.
