When i first played the game this music was so depressing and calm and joyful at the same time, i was reading the texts about the two monsters wanting to see the outside and this music made it so depressing, joyful, good and all around epic when reading. One of the things i remember the most from playing.
Yess, I felt the same. It was really depressing to imagine these two monsters talking and dreaming os seeing the stars. I imagined two little kids and this song in the background only made this part harder to go through :(
I imagined the choir as being the voices of the monsters, singing for a hopeful future on the surface. Along with the story about the two monsters, the whole thing made me tear up. It was intensely emotional for me despite everything.
I can imagine taking Dragonslayer Ornstein as a base and tweaking his character model and moveset to accomplish that. :) "Undyne - Spear of Justice" for neutral/pacifist runs. "Undyne The Undying" for genocide runs is already a suitable Dark Souls name. ;)

Killing her seems like the only logical course of action, even if you spared every monster up until this point. But throughout the stage, you see how much the other monsters look up to her, how much they love her, and how much she helps them. Is killing her really the right choice?

When I discovered Undertale, I played the demo. Immediately, I knew what I had in my hands was a masterpiece. I desperately needed more, and bought the full game. I am endlessly thankful to myself for staying away from spoilers and going in blind. The story, the characters, and most of all the music... I love so so dearly much. So much that this game is still in my top 3 best games ever played. Toby Fox always created the right music to create the right atmosphere at the right places. When I first finished the Pacifist route, I was in tears, literally. Because I'm emotional, but also because I played it when I was going through a tough time and the game gave me a reason to push through, because I wanted to see the endings, I wanted to hear the music, I wanted to read the dialogue... This game means so much to me, and I love Toby Fox for making it. (still waiting for the rest of Deltarune...)
I was so excited to see that you uploaded another video!! Always love how you experiment with the original pieces and truly make it your own. Wonderfully done~
WOW! At the beginning it feels like you were laying on the battlefield seeing your comrades running past you into the war and you're not even realizing what's happening. The time just passes by. Then when the violins start playing you're realizing! Realizing how cruel and horrible it is that your friends are dying that you are dying that everyone is suffering. When in the next second angels start singing. Singing over the howl battlefield wanting to stop such a horrible thing wanting to end the suffering wanting to tell people that this is something you don't have to do. Then everything stopped for a second the wind the shooting the sound just everything, and the people started crying started screaming started being sad because they realized how stupid it was to start a war how stupid it was to kill other people with no doubt in their minds time passed everything calmed down, and they stopped the war. Sry for my bad English and I hope you liked my interpretation.
my felling was completely different. i fell has i was alone, in a beautiful, misteryous, and quiet place. i felled in that way the entire music. (sorry by my VERY bad inglish)
I'm gonna straight up admit it, I fell asleep to this song, and I mean that as a complement. There is something so chillingly serene about your Quiet Water cover, the bass droning in my ears, the harp repeatedly descending its sad scale, while the violin and flute seeing there sorry stories to each other. After the roaring, echoing chasm of ancient voices that is Waterfall, Quiet Water really does feel like a peaceful lake after braving the rapids. The ending especially feels a lot like Christopher Larkin's music - I can just hear the Sealed Vessel waiting in these underground tunnels, with that angelic chorus and the trilling woodwinds. There's almost a sense of folklore to it, like I'm listening to the legend that Waterfall is telling me. Each note feels like it was placed and played with such care, feeling at if it was trying to depart all of its story in a dream, before finally at the end sending me off to sleep.
Holy crap, this is haunting somehow. It kind of makes me wonder what marvels you'd work if you got onto the Chrono Trigger tracks, because this kind of reminds me of Sealed Door in a couple of places.
Even now it lives on. Despite all its hardships, the hatred it has received, it refuses to die. *(It is determined to live on.) *(It is determined to keep bringing joy and hope to people.) *(It fills you with determination)
I miss the feeling of playing Undertale for the first time, the emotions and connections I felt to the characters and their stories. I miss how simple life seemed while playing it, I’m worried I’ll never have a connection to a game like this ever again. But I’m still thankful I got to experience it. Thank you Toby Fox
I always come back here eventually, I've been coming back for the last year or so. This is so wonderful. It feels me up with an indescribable feeling of nostalgia, sadness and power. Thank you
Undertale was always a game that people could go to for many different reasons. It could be for fun, escapism from the pits that are reality, but for most it was like a second life. Making friends, enemies. And after so many years, the nostalgia fill you with determination
The Quiet Water part, oh gosh, filled me with a weird feeling of nostalgia from long ago... even if I got into Undertale recenty, just in the last few months. Wonderful.
I wish i could wake up from time to time, having completely forgotten everything about the game, just to feel all of these emotions again I remember sobbing when i got killed by omega flowey the first time, because i cared for all of these characters so deeply. I cried when i saved Asriel. I can't describe the tears of joy when i hugged him. I can't have these feelings back, but i think i'm going to reply it somewhere in the near future.
Dang... I was reading the comments after listening to the original version of the song and it was playing through my mind as I read them, then I actually played the music and all I could think was "Whoa..." Like, the orchestral version is absolutely stunning and I didn't realize it until after I pressed the play button
I miss being with this game. I learnt so much from it. I made so many friends. I made many memories. However, there were... a few lessons it didn't teach me. I had to leave. I had to... take a break. I had to catch up on the world outside, catch up on friends, family, society. it was fun, I learnt about history and geography. I learnt about people, about events, about myself and my own life. There will be an end one day, and I had not learnt that until recently, and I didn't accept it. That lesson was in the game but I refused to believe it. Undertale is a story, a literal tale, about self understanding, grief, and forgiveness. The forgiving part, I understood perfectly. Too perfectly. I knew nothing about me, and I never ever understood death. Since then, I would say I have matured. To those reading/listening/hearing my story, let me tell you something. When you play this game, play until the end, take in everything, and then take a break, maybe read a book. When you come back, you will be grateful. You will remember, you will remember everything, every word, every piece of dialogue, then think to yourself, and you will have grown into a wise old man/woman. I don't know who you are, but I love you and I shall bless your young soul. Stay determined.
*Looking at the skies* "Don't cry because it's over... Be happy that it happened..." Perfectly sums up most of the feelings everyone has regarding Undertale
damn, I was just seeing sad sweeden from minecraft when this came up... eugh... so many memories, this 2 will definetly lay in my heart as the best games in the world.

I woke up at 3 am due to a nightmare I couldn't sleep again So I went to the roof Lied down on the roof And then I felt silence and peace Then I played this song I felt asleep after a few minutes The feeling was amazing
This makes me remember all the times playing undertale and finding out all the secrets god it gives me so much nostalgia it makes me a bit sick but not in that way like I miss it yknow
I'm loosing the ability to draw and properly see. The songs that I have found from you are making my day a whole lot better. Thier calming and make my smile, forgetting the world around me. I'm happy I found undertale. I'm happy I found YOU. This is the most pure part of the undertale Fandom I have ever seen. Probably the only pure part of the Fandom. And to you wonderful creator, I thank you for taking the time to make these songs. They have made me cry and smile. They inspired me to try again, even though I failed. I wish you well, of you read this.
This orchestral cover of Waterfall & Quiet Water you did of the Undertale music is beautiful it's so empowering it sounds cinematic it brings so many memories & emotion back when I first played Undertale gosh I got pretty invested in Toby Fox's game special times ☺️ it'll be hard to top my first experience playing it, congrats on your orchestral cover to some of the soundtrack from Undertale Osirois Music very excellent work ^^ if Undertale was a movie this music done like this would work so perfectly for it ♥️💙
This remix has made me think a lot about painful events last year. Lost two long-time friends to medical issues (one to cancer), and my grandmother (whom I was extremely close to) succumbed to a stroke. All while those I called "family" began fighting with each other over it, and even lashed out at me. It nearly pushed me over the edge emotionally (not in a suicidal manner, but just as dark of a place). The second half is basically the friends who consider me their family, all they could see was someone they cared about, soul almost shattered from grief and pain, about to become someone ready to do unspeakable things. Friends who gave comfort and solace, at a time where so much held dear was ripped from me. Helping me move forward. Keep those who love you and care about you close. They'll remain with you when you need someone the most, and will ensure you can #StayDetermined

Inspired by Undertale.
Stay home alone
Wait till night
Turn the song on
And turn off the light
Imagine yourself
Far-Far away
In a quiet place

The ceiling of a house
Becomes a dark cave
Floor covered in dust
Of an enemy slayed
Forever it’s gone
But you stay unharmed
Silent footsteps fall
Don’t be alarmed
You could’ve cried
You could’ve laughed
But it’ll only hide
Your chilling past
Is it rain
Or a waterfall?
Well, it doesn’t matter
Don’t listen at all
And a far music box
Can be heard from this cliff
The melody takes you
Flowing like a gift
Will you wake up?
Nobody knows
Don’t kill, don’t be killed
Forever pull them close
The cold rushes through you
Crystallizing your soul
Why be so blue?
You’re still alive, but not whole.

My favorite music from undertale.

I'm so glad that i'm studying french.
i love this.
This made me feel something... I suddenly want to cry...
*Looking at the skies*
"Don't cry because it's over... Be happy that it happened..."
Perfectly sums up most of the feelings everyone has regarding Undertale
Listening to the calm, flowing music that accompanied you on your journey... it fills you with Determination.
I just got chills. Oh my god.
damn, I was just seeing sad sweeden from minecraft when this came up... eugh... so many memories, this 2 will definetly lay in my heart as the best games in the world.
The violas and background choir give an almost medieval fantasy vibe to it. Well done.
This is my first time listening to waterfall, and I know It’s special
If I saw a game with an art style like this I would play it immediately
Musique à l'effigie des autres titres, puissante et magistrale, mais également d'une douceur qui est très agréable et présente dans les instruments comme le violon.
Continue dans cette voie qui est celle de la réussite 👍
I freaking miss experiencing this master piece for the first time, it's music, characters, plot twists and endings, it's a feeling I'll have like a treasure in my heart
I woke up at 3 am due to a nightmare
I couldn't sleep again
So I went to the roof
Lied down on the roof
And then I felt silence and peace
Then I played this song
I felt asleep after a few minutes
The feeling was amazing
This is such a lovely arrangement, wonderful performance too!

I always feel joy and sadness listening to this song.
There’s a waterfall coming out of my eyes now
This all started from a game that became legendary is for me this game is truly the best when it comes to all
LEGENDARY!!!!!!
Knowing Undertale is still alive...
It fills you with DETERMINATION
They'll remain with you when you need someone the most, and will ensure you can #StayDetermined
this songs fills you with D E T E R M I NA T I O N ❤
Man I havnt played undertale yet but gosh wow I need to thanks to these songs.
" Você escutando essa música , te faz lembrar de eventos que aconteceram ... Isso te enche de determinação"
