This sounds like something straight out of a Studio Ghibli film! It reminds me a lot of "Merry-go-round of Life" from "Howl's Moving Castle". A very beautiful rendition of an already amazing song!
i feel like a wizard, blocking himself from the outside, too busy studying, experimenting, and wondering about the arts of magic, who pushes away his thoughts of simple, outside pleasures, until he decides to open the blinds and let the light in, to find a gorgeous town below him, what used to be a tiny village, and some kind of festival going on, and with a childish sense of exitement, wondered down the stairs with newfound energy, opened himself, chatted with people he had not seen in months, if not years, told stories to the children, ate delights he'd only longed for inside his tower, just to come back to his prison of curiosity and hunger for knowledge, but this time, he got visitors each day.
