Nice video, especially with the shots in between. I bought a 16L AW. It's much more practical than my previous Lowepro Flipside and I like it better than an F-stop Lotus, because that last one just had too many straps pockets, etc. The only thing I miss on the Fulton is a small pocket for storage cards.

Like the roll top bit for other kit/food. Nice review dotted with some great snaps too! 🙂

Will see how smashing around Italy 🇮🇹 & Indonesia 🇮🇩 does for its usefulness & longevity!

I was wondering if the 16L model rolltop could be squeezed a few cm so it gets as close as possible the new airlines restrictions for cabin bag, if not matches it. Specs sheet measures the height at 51cm. Could you be so kind to test how much it could be shrunk when empty and measure its middle point height?.Would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

With 2 rolls of the top section (ie stuff in it but rolling it 2 times to close) it’s about 58cm tall. With the roll top completely closed it’s nearer 47cm.

I’m certain it will be fine for a flight as long as not overloaded in the top section. I’ll def be carrying it on flights in the next month or 2

@@siwphoto That's awesome. That's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks for taking the time :).

I initially wanted to go as small as possible, but still something big enough for EDC and for a weekend trip maybe.
Ordered the 14L but send it back after a week. I found it a bit too little for a weekend trip bag. Unfortunately, I didn't realise you could open the day pack compartment down to the camera part. I don't carry much gear, so I could have used that additional space for what I needed.
I'll probably order the 16L now... or thinking of trying the 14L again lol .
How tall are you? just to get a feel for how big it is?

I’m 5’8”. There is a section in the vid where I talk about height and back length. About ½ way through I think.
I think the 16 is perfect if you need to carry a bit of stuff - eg for me it’s a 400, 24-120, filters, Osmo etc. The 14 is perfect for a walk around pack for a day when you don’t need much.
      Basically you need both 😂

Thats also new to me, thanks for that info, I have the 14l and I do like it, tripod mounting needs attention imo, but overall a great bag for £70

      What I need is a generous friend with a 14 🤔

Can you remove the waist strap if it’s useless?

Yep for sure, this is what I will be doing with mine.
