Can we just appreciate how much work the crew had to go through to do that scene? The entire set had to be redressed, and Liz and Agnes had to hit exactly the same poses several times (Liz had it down to a science by this time) to pull this off. What a load of work!
I would venture to think Liz and Agnes ran through this scene (at least) twice, the first time in the usual living room decor and the second time in the grand decor, using the same arm gestures for both runs so they could be later be edited together. Still a masterful piece of work, but I can't imagine they redressed the set at each pop.

When you find yourself on the horns of a dilemma, between truth and falsehood, truth should be the path to take. But this sitcom would have lost some of its humor had the writers chosen to have done so.
Interesting title but what it comes down to is that Samantha & Endora's secret are witnessed by Darrin's mother but dismiss is it because of her age.. so her secret still Remains safe. That's pretty much of a long title.
He also recreated the frenetic chocolate factory conveyor belt episode when Uncle Arthur and Serena get jobs, except instead of chocolate it was frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and nuts.

Plus, they could have filmed a dialogue's sequence in one set, then the other parts of dialogue in a changed set, the real magic here happened in the edition room
I agree with Sam. I kind of like the set they used for the living room, it looks neat and uncluttered and comfortable. A lot of the shows from that time had appealing domestic sets.
Spells involving people and animals can’t be undone by another witch unless they actually know the spell that was used. Spells involving inanimate objects were undone often.
Me too...but the room was more of an 70s look with the color prints. Most households had those big TVs, and looking at Elizabeth Montgomery's pantsuit, it was definitely indicative of the time period. I just love looking back on these.

I literally forgot how much bolder the color episodes were! I haven’t seen most of these episodes since I was a child. The black and white ones from the first two seasons that Nick at Night only showed were kinda boring compared to these later color seasons… with the exception of the original Gladys Kravitz of course.
Jack Albertson was also an Oscar winner for his role in The Subject was Roses ...he had scenes in that one with the brilliant and also Oscar winner Patricia Neal.....great movie
I love bewitch it’s a very good show I have five seasons of the show. Dick York is a One to play Darren he’s very romantic to Samantha and a good husband. I Love all the shows.
I've never understood why in later episodes they didn't just come out with it? The show ended openly with a rerun from an old episode. They did the same thing with I dream of Jeannie. They had a dream sequence of Dr. Bellows finding out, but we were never certain it was a dream. They should have left it there.
With Jeannie it originally wasn’t a dream. They were told they were getting another season so they rewrote it. Then they ended getting canceled anyway.
In her defense, in the 60's she would have probably had to drive all over town to get everything she was looking for as opposed to now being able to just go to Wal Mart or Target and get everything in one place lol

How did Samantha change her furniture back to normal after Endora's magical remodel? I thought a witch couldn't undo another witch's spell.
I got to admit Samantha did get a little help she called "Got Junk" and these big muscled guys removed everything up that belonged to Endora..lol
Maybe using a loophole, she didn't reverse the spell, just got rid of Endora's suite and put a new one of her own in, Endora did the same.
