interesting to see the trombone solo played on trumpet. I played this chart back in college with my jazz band (as well as a bunch of other gordon goodwin charts cuz he was our guest artist on year) and it was a ton of fun to play lead trumpet for it.

@@brianfinchermusic Fortunately it IS playable. I've tried some Bob McChesny and Bill Watrous ones and they are almost impossible to play. Andy was down to earth on this one and still swinging.

Thanks! I write it out in finale, screen grab 3-5 bar chunks, then fit it to the bottom of the screen in Final Cut with the recorded audio and video

Hey Brian this is Dave Womack. We have worked together some time ago. Nice job on Andy's solo. He is one of my favorite players. Got to see him here at UofH few yrs ago and he really has the horn down. I've always liked this solo of his, but have to admit that it really sounds great on trumpet too! you nailed it. Really cool. I have played tpt solos before but never the other way around. bravo. Keep up the good work.
