I feel like Jane doe banner will give you anby copies and 2 new characters. Just seems so much more value than qingye with 2 physical dps units I also feel like better stunners will come out in the future so I don’t feel bad missing qingye

even though i don't have zhu yuan and won't pull for her now that i've seen qingyi, i still plan to pull for qingyi because she will fit ANY future attacker that i want, and I like qingyi's design. i'm mostly holding out for an attacker i'll really personally like the aesthetic of, so might be waiting a while lol, but the extra stun damage still will still be good on any team

I have Ellen+Lycaon and I'm bored of traditional stun+dps style, there no way I'm making 2nd team of same style, that's why I skipping Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. Jane playstyle looks fun, with crits on assault + Seth is on her banner who perfect for her. Nekomata is bad for Jane because they're fighting for field time. If disorders are the future then Jane+Seth+Grace(Yanagi in 1.2) if you don't have Grace - Jane+Seth+Rina(maybe Lucy?) so Jane can have max field time
Nekomate is bad because her core revolves around counters or quick assists, Jane needs an anomaly or faction memeber, until a support from Janes faction comes, who can quick assist nekomata in, those two are terrible together (M1 nekomata user)

Ellen + Lycaon is a very different experience than Zhu Yuan + Qingyi, just saying. And yes while it isn't fun to go full meta, at the moment anomaly just doesn't clear Shiyu Defense effectively. Maybe once everyone is maxed out. Until then, making sure you get all attributes is way more important. So no clue why you are skipping the strongest Ether for 1.1 and possibly 1.2.

Jane doe is the better banner to pull on especially if you have zhu. Seth is a must have for anomaly teams as he proivides mastery increase and anomaly res defense down. Also on her banner you get amby mindscapes which is great for zhu teams as the calculated effectives between quingyi and amby is not that huge espicallly with amby c6

I have Zhu Yuan and only 1 stunner (Anby) so getting another stunner would be nice. But I rather just wait for another element plus I plan to run anomaly on my 2nd team which probably doesn’t even need a stunner. Also was a little disappointed to see Qingyi would only clear a little bit faster than Anby in Zhu Yuan teams, I expected a bigger upgrade I also probably gonna go for Jane’s engine so maybe I will get C6R5 Anby while I do it meanwhile getting 2 nee characters on my 2nd team. So basically I would get 3 upgrades for my teams compared to 1

With Soldier 11 and Grace my account is suffering on clear speed . I skipped ellen as i did not get lyacon luck . with the new events teased my best option might be to wait for Jane Doe and try for the disorder team combo with the grace i have . Zhu Yen and Qingyi seem great but i dont have the best luck and dont have enough pulls to guarntee x2 limited characters. as hard as it is im going to wait till the very end of mouse mommy's banner see the banner leaks and decide there
I completely comprehend your situation. My account had only Soldier 11 until I rolled for Zhu Yuan, and then I obtained Grace. As a result, I am also experiencing difficulties 😢 hope we both have better luck in the future
one thing to consider, anomaly and ice will not be the main weakness from the 1.1 patch, so zhu and shark will not get through content so easily. now physical and electric chars in other hand...
Will save for Miyabi instead since I don't have enough pulls for my f2p account + it's a 50-50. Will just build on what I have as of the moment. Team 1: Zhu Yuan + Nicole + Anby - Team 2: Lycaon (as DPS) + Rina + Soukaku
Definitely think Jane doe is the safer pick. The chance we see another phys/anomaly is low and she synergizes with other anomaly so no power creep. I think qingyi can be really good if you have the resources to get her weapon + her C1 but that’s not super reasonable this early
The risk is that assault isn't one of the 3 damage over time anomaly effects and an ether and/or fire anomaly unit comes out that synergizes better with disorder.

I've been saving for Jane Doe and also her banner is just too good for me personally. You got them, you have a solid team already. Qingyi is cool but Anby still work just fine for me. also my account is in dire need for a dps.
Jane Doe 100%. The way she walks just sold me out. And now knowing Anby and Seth are gonna be on her banner. I'm 200% convinced now. I love Anby so much and Seth with his Charge Blade weapon SHEEEEEEESH.
Don't sleep on Grace / Rina / Jane. Jane is absolutely going to be a character for proc'ing Disorder off of Shock/Burn/Corruption. She'll pair best with Electric/Fire/Ether anomaly characters going forward.
I got grace and lycon and Seth is gonna be electric and I got nekomata so Jane doe is a no brainer for me but you definitely underselling Jane doe bias or not
To be honest I might run a zhu yuan Nicole and Jane doe team to could work anomaly characters could work as a mixed stunner. Jane doe also just has a lot of crowd control moves so mixing her with the best attacker could work with disorder.
A mixed stunner is nowhere near reliable as a true stunner, you will miss out on procing as lot more chain attacks which means less zhu bullets, stun damage amp for zhu and also completely lose out on Jane does passive since you don't have another anomaly
i use Nekomata, Piper and Nicole. . and i can tell ya. . .it doesn't stun very good... You can make it work, so far did Shiyu 16 with Ellen on other side. . but it's not good stunning. Zhu Yuan needs good stunning, or shes like a guy whos been drinking too much . . a wet noodle

Idk why would you need to pull for jean doe if you already have nekomata. Physical anomaly is kinda weak unless they artificially blow jean's numbers to make her op. 1) we already have nekomata with absolutely the same play style. 2) physical is weak. 3) L char idk. absolutely lacks uniqueness If you had no time to get Ellen, then you 100% pulled Zhu. So you have at least 1 S attacker and she's meta. With so many polychromes you definitely pulled another good or playable attacker. You certainly now have 2 teams. Why would you need to waste your pulls for half-assed attacker (not even attacker)? I only see one explanation and its for the collection. In the worst case you skip jean and then 100% get miyagi, miyabi or w/e she's called. And she will be meta for sure and much stronger.
This is an L take, lol. Assault is one of the nastiest procs in the game - it's why even Piper is seeing decent usage in Shiyu Defense. And Jane Doe will be a *much better* Piper. Jane will be nothing like Nekomata, lol

I read that Jane doe will have her passive up with either an anomaly unit or faction unit. Not with physical units so might not work with Nekomata.
