I don't know the last time I cried watching a video on RUclips. So incredibly, incredibly powerful. Thank you Philipp. Thank you Mellody. Thank you Google Talks. This talk changed my life.

You should definitely listen to her talk at Harvard Business school. That one made me cry and soooo inspired me. I have literally vowed to live my life differently after becoming a Mellody Hobson devotee. I have seen every You
Tube interview and check for new ones every month--which is how I found this one. It is a bucket list item to meet her...and I'm confident I will because I'm sure she'll write a book one day. Oh, then listen to her Ted Talk.

RationallyMe I have watched that probably two or three times! LOL, we are like the same person - you and I. Because I checked constantly for new videos of her, which is also how I found this one! She is such an inspiration. I don't have many close friends, lol, so I consider many of the people I've watched plenty videos of on RUclips to be somewhat like my friends - like Mellody, Ursula, Jamie Dimon. I would absoultely love to meet her one day. She is so sweet and thoughtful. If she writes a book, I'll be one of the first to purchase.

Yep...I discovered Ursula by Mellody's mention in a talk. Now, I'm gonna search Jamie Dimon. 👍

Cardion Don I echo your exact sentiments and see Mellody and Ursula as my friends too. As a male, I cam relate to both of their stories especially Mellody's. I am sure she will do a book one day because her essay for "Lean In for Women" was amazing. Since you will be the first, I will be the second to get it. :-)

You and me both buddy. You and me both. Both of their stories are incredibly powerful. I can't wait until they both do a book. I haven't read the "Lean in" story, but I have heard it was amazing. Lol, you never know, you might the first and I may be the second.

Oh my goodness....I've been following her husband for the last couple of years, as I, among many I'm sure, find him inspirational....but holy smokes....Mellody has just changed my whole Paradigm of Thought on life and the Pursuit of Purpose! I'm so, so thankful that I found this video. She's amazing! Little did I know. I've should have studied deeper.

I have not heard a woman speak so eloquently and passionately about anything outside of Michelle Obama. I aspire to be the type of individual this woman is on my level. I may not be able to rub elbows with Warren Buffet, but to be the most encouraging and uplifting to all I am able to touch. Mellody, you are so INSPIRING!

RationallyMe YOU AND ME BOTH! So much life changing vice. Literally, there are times when I am in a mood and just feel like things might not always be working out, and I just go and watch one of her videos. This current video, I've already watched this one twice! Lol. She is just so eloquent. I love her talks on race, and how you can be an advocate without a fist raised in the air. I love her thoughts on knowing what battles to pick. I JUST LOVE Her as well!!

At 1:10 I have spoken out - I have been targeted. I have not been called for jobs. It is scary. I have put myself in harm's way to speak up against injustice. Everyone left me hanging. I lost a lot. But I can face myself in the mirror on this.

Want to help people understand how to invest Google? Do some videos for self employed people (contractor class) on how to invest when you don't have a company with an investment plan. Everyone loves to say you will work for 18 companies, but what about those of us who will never work for one.
And I'm one of your vendors / contractors ;)

Two points. Mellody asks the question when remarking on the availability of financial literacy courses being available in high schools compared to shop classes. She asks who fixes carburetors? Well earlier she remarks that a farmer is the one who made the break through observation that his milk maids were not getting small pox. Well, that farmer is the one fixing carburetors and engines. Why don't you help us create York College a new 3 year college model that brings 18 - 25 year olds who are not going to 4 year schools opportunities 🤔.

How can she admire HC and then go on to say that she respects the democratic process, but not bring up how HC behaved after she lost. Does she seriously think that HC acted eloquently? GMAB!
