- YUP, You read the title right. I am playing hardcore Minecraft but with a twist. Since hardcore Minecraft isn't already hard enough, I decided to do it on a survival island. Today is full of twist and turns and way to many close calls but I had a great time playing it. I hope you guy's enjoy it just as much as I did making it. World Download will be available SOON!!! For your mob farm - use slabs + hoppers underneath, should work just fine. As for the creepers, I think if you had a trapdoor under the last blocks, they won't be able to see you.

Personal opinion: they should add two more arrow varieties. Wooden arrows, with the same range and velocity as flint arrows but less damage and accuracy. Stone arrows, with the same damage and accuracy but less range and velocity. Just so you have realistic options for arrows.
Fun fact: Originally the recipe of arrows would use steel instead of flint, they changed that due to it being too expensive.
obsidian arrows would be sick, and a cool nod to native american history

When you first start, it never hurts to remember you can make charcoal by putting a log in a furnace

I love how when I bonemeal oak trees for decoration they come out stubby as hell but when I bonemeal them to cut down they come out massive and waste my time 💀
Hi ,for the mob farm in question, place the funnels where the monsters fall is easier and safer. another point is to raise an island for peaceful mobs to spawn

I really liked this video's editing style compared to your hardcore world series! thanks for making videos and I really enjoy both series! one comment I can make is the hardcore world video uses the bgm too much and can be overwhelming when moreso I want to hear your commentary and I feel like the music takes away from it.

seal up three sides of the mob farm and drop a water bucket at the other end so it pushes the mobs and loot toward you.

Idk why but it upsets me so much that you "wait for the leaves to decay" when you can just break them yourself and it would be much faster.

The most annoying thing about island bases for me is mining cause there is always so many water caves.

This is why you need to remember that CHARCOAL exists. it would be so much faster to light up the island with charcoal
I like the idea of keeping track of the days survived while doing survival island.
for storage i use all barrels for the whole floor. as for upstairs i simply use a ladder. easier.

No other land within 5000 blocks. Needed to keep it normal past that point so an end portal spwans!

You should build a campfire to avoid/reduce using coals as fuel when cooking food. :)

It doesn't matter if leaves decay or are destroyed, they still have the same % chance to drop leaves.

I usually put slabs over them for the mobs to land on. The drops go right into the hoppers, which lead to chests
