After growing up on a river, one thing I learned is always camp Downstream of where you want to hunt, fish,or prospect....that way if you have any boat issues you can float back to camp.....

Well in Amra, that chocolate water is the same as our Northern rivers ,only ours are that colour all year round lol .it's the peat it's like swimming in a dark whiskey. Keene means great !!! ☠👍👍👍⛏💙

How did you get the boat up there?
How did you get the equipment to base camp?
Where did you rent the trucks to get to the boat?
    Where did you leave them?

The one fellow who was running the Keene Concentrator towards the end almost looked like Chris Doumitt from Gold Rush minus the cigar.

How would I get the opportunity to come work for you and the association digging, dredging, etc?

Not even voluntary with a small cut of the take? For time, travel and supplies? I've got a 6' gold hog piglet, portable spiral and portable Miller table, planning on getting a 3" keene dredge this year. Also in training to climb trees so I can help to keep trails clear for the claims

Sounds like you have it covered. Sorry, no, when we mine, we mine hard and are not taking on new partners at this time.

Yes control BLM so they let us run on the wild and scenic 40 Mile or North Fork of the 40 Mile. We have so few highway and the waterways are our highways. We are remotely located we dont need wild and scenic river to stop us from traveling on the water. I love nature but I like our freedoms too. 40 Mile is the old mining district in Alaska. Gold and other minerals are Alaska was purchased. BLM is to manage not own these lands.
