I LOVE working the veterinary hospital at night. No micro managing, less people everywhere, and you just do what needs to be done. I'm on year 22. I love nights!
I'm a former clergy person and my last church was one I took (and left) during the pandemic. I didn't see anyone without a mask the whole first year I was there, in addition to worship and day to day work being exclusively by phone or online. In a mediation meeting a year plus into my time there, I reintroduced myself to someone I had met because it was the first leadership experience without masks and I didn't recognize his face without it. The situation was already very conflicted (this church has a history of conflict as old as I am- mid thirties), so he absolutely blew up in the meeting. It was unreal. I had seen him twice before.

@@tiapetrie I guess when they filmed the 1st Escape the Kitchen it must not have been on a day that YCSWU was filming in the office.🤔 Otherwise, they would have had to film the podcast elsewhere, like they did this one (0:48).

I've been going on a small binge of these to listen to while doing some work and just wanna say I'm glad there's someone else who's also too scared to go too fast on a highway 😅 I can go up to 75mph to keep up with traffic, but I prefer to stay in the middle, or closer to the right so that people can go around me

Denver here. 4 Miles is the best, and in the middle of the city. It is a great way for people to see what old old old Denver was.
I also very much dislike sports, especially American Football. One Xmas, I was with my dad, he was watching the Broncos, I got the barbie dream hut... my dad was too invest, and I built the hut in my room on my own. The Broncos lost.
My dad also taped over my Saturday morning cartoons with a boxing match. So, that solidified my distaste for sport (also getting hit in the head with a football in school). I have all the reasons. 😂
By the way, my dad was overall, a wonderful dad. I miss him.

I didn't realize there was a Hold the Cone WITH dairy, LOL. Maggie, you can definitely get dairy free, chocolate year round and in the fall there was a caramel one!

8:40 I believe a lot of "corn chips" are just Corn, Oil, Salt. I know that's true for regular Fritos and for the regular dippers from Trader Joe's.

Rice IS hard. I require a rice cooker and I have a bachelors degree from arguably the best culinary school in the country. Rice is hard.
Also, if you cook it uncovered in as shallow a pan as possible (so, spread it on a plastic wrap-lined cookie sheet and leave it uncovered in the fridge until it’s cool), then wrap it once it’s cooled. Ready to stir-fry or can microwave with a flick of water and a wet paper towel 👍
