- Two peahens are out and about with their chicks. One hen has one peachick (5 weeks old) and one hen has 2 peachicks (6 weeks old). Special appearance of a peacock in their day at the end. Filmed at the L.A. Arboretum in July 2023.

July is the time when Peacocks begin to loss their tail feathers, but in the beginning of August, new feathers starting to grow for their next courtship in summer of February. But you can used the shed feathers as decorations or ornaments for your household

Those are some sweet peas. I got news of one in the hood today with five new babies. Didn't find her myself when I looked but that's the mission tomorrow morning.
Oh how much zoom are you using? I can't get close to the peahens I know with chicks.😂

My camera's zoom goes up to 40times...I'm probably using half of that.

What’s the male tryna do
The male is trying to mate with the peahen. He doesn't realize that when they have babies to raise they're not interested in mating.
