Hi, I just bought this guitar from used market, the bridge has the exact the same issue, after watching your video, I found a simpler solution : Take the 'string-puller' out of bridge , flip it over and put back in (now the puller is installed upside down) , it will create the angle deep enough to get rid of buzz no matter how low the action is. it might cause some inconvenience for installing strings, but once the string is installed , it will work perfectly....this solution works for the lower strings too, but I suggest you to swap the stock screws with flatheaded ones, otherwise there ll be not enough room for lower string to go through..... Hope this will help the ppl who's also struggling with this guitar.

Good to know about the issues. Guitar looks amazing i almost pulled the trigger on one but my local store got the new Ibanez Quest series in so i went with that. Perfect out of the box from Ibanez.

Thank you for playing clean! It's nice to hear the guitar's pure tone.

The standard GW2 has a MUCH better bridge and nut system. The grub screws on the GW2 Pro are an S-Show to deal with. and the bridge/saddles has terrible adjustment tolerances like pointed out in the video. The GW2's system is so much more convenient and stable for string changes, set up, and tuning stability. It's almost like EART made a mistake and put the hardware that should have been on the Pro version on the standard version. Good thing is the standard version is $200 less. Modding a $599 guitar to make it work is insane, especially when the PRS SE CE Standard Satin is $499.99. The "fancy woods" making a tonal difference is snakeoil.

Thanks for this review. I was obsessed with this model some time ago, although i did not like the new upper horn design, i even thought to buy one and then cut the upper horn to the sharp shape I want.. But now i think i will pass. Mybe lets wait for the Eart GW3 :)

I know they're slightly more expensive but, have you checked out "GOC" guitars? Miles ahead of the Eart headless guitars IMO. Coincidentally, they're releasing a new batch of guitars for sale this friday (04/21/2023) at 9:00 pm Eastern time.

Should have watched your vid before getting mine.
I’m a noob so no way I’ll start working on the guitar and the point of being “cheap” is not to put money for a guy to fix it.
The G string problem on mine make it unplayable, the E string is impossible (for me) to get in tune on all the frets.
The screw coming out of the “headstock” ripped my fingers off 😳.
Anyway, this one’s going back where she came from.
    Thks!
    Take care.

Any one know what size Ball bearings are used. I think it would be wise to have spares

what a shame. I love the look of these, but it seems like the Eart Headless with the square bridge might be much less of a headache for less money.

Hi Chris, I have have the same guitar, plays amazing, action’s a lil bit higher, want to try that shim mod, do you remember what are those shims measures?

I just used the cardboard from a D'Addario NYXL box. I cut it to fit just at the back 2 screws to create an angle when the neck is tightened. I ended up with a 2 ply. works perfectly. Ideally, solid wood shims work best. Stew mac sells really good wooden shims in varying thicknesses.

That cant be a better bridge than the other one if you have to add shims everywhere to make it work lol

do you need double ball end strings or will normal strings work?

The contours and edges look rather uncomfortable. Also, someone tell me what the riff is at 9:50, I recognize it but forgot where from.
