Acclaimed Broadway actor/dancer/singer Natascia Diaz performed "America" from West Side Story during the first night's show on the r family Vacations cruise to Alaska, July, 2009. Diaz, Sherz Aletaha, and the dancers from the r family staff gave a brilliant rendition, introduced by Michael Lee Scott, Artistic Coordinator for r family Vacations. This was one of the numbers performed by the "Broadway Belters" assembled to entertain during the seven night cruise from Seattle to Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway and Prince Rupert, Canada, aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines' Norwegian Starf. r family Vacations sponsors trips for gay families and people who support and welcome them.
