Hey Gabby, please don't paint the hallway wall by the cupboard dark. Keep it light and pretty but, I don't know, that's just me. Then, maybe paint the kitchen door pink, too. =) Your painting skills though. 🙌🏻
Obviously its your house and you can do whatever you want but i would just highly recommend keeping the walls white, it makes the transition from your hall to your front room/ dining room better and it also makes it look bigger and brighter! Just a thought obviously whatever you do will look great

it looks good, but i don't think the space in the hallway section of the cupboard is optimised, the gaps between the shelves are massive. Maybe at some point in the future once all your major work is done, you could re-work the cupboard again, massive improvement for now.
Also i like the hall white.

For a quick fix, this is such an improvement! The coat of white paint really did miracles for that space. So bright and refreshed! One thing I would do is to move the Ikea shelves a bit towards the back wall and put the ironing board in the front gap, so it's not rubbing against dirty step ladders. You probably don't want to iron dirt onto your clothes, table cloths or other random items that require ironing. I would also keep the hall white and allow the eye to move seamlessly down the hall, creating the illusion of more space. Paint the doorframe white and call it a day... for now! I know you plan on more changes in the future. Looking forward to seeing all the transformations!
Hey Hun, loving this! I'm about to move into a new house and needed storage solutions for the weird shaped cupboard in my room so this has helped. I think if you wanna paint any wall dark in your corridor, I'd paint the one right at the end as it draws the eye down or use some fun wallpaper. I think it'll make it look longer and more interesting xxxx

On Amazon, you can buy lights that are motion activated and peel and stick. I have them in all my cupboard and love them! No batteries or wires!

The closet turned out very well. And I love the pink doors with the pink lights!! I don't think I would paint it dark around that pink door though...it looks so bright and pretty the way it is.

Made the space look like a cute and functional, Kind of like you would want to go into there to get something rather than it just be a space you utilise to store things and occasionally grab something from without really taking in the tiny space (if you get my drift? loved how one door was dark and one light, nice contrast^.^) x

I would suggest leaving the hallway white! A dark hallway will feel really dingy! The closet looks awesome!
