Im a bit of an old newbie at the 4x4 caravan travelling thing , seen lots of Vlogs , I fluked upon your videos by just watching youtube on TV great short videos relaxed and easy to watch with real Aussie recommendations for travelling , yep I subscribed big thumbs up
Agree with all of those top 5 and have them on my Hilux. My top 5, 4x4 mods, for towing and touring are - Front protection - UHF - Suspension upgrade - Long Range Fuel Tank - Fridge - cheers guys and safe travels
Great top 5 there mate. We also run a GVM upgrade and long range tank. I must say the long range tank I will put in any tourer I have from now on though, they are so good!
Pretty well overall. The worst we had was the plastic clip that holds the shower broke (about $20 to replace). Numerous screws came loose on the first couple of tracks but I just went around and fixed them properly. Also, the ensuite door needs a better latch to stop it opening underway. We used an esky bungee cord latch and it was perfect after that. I'd have no hesitations in getting another semi offroad from them.
Hi Craig, we are still travelling but have changed things up a little! Plenty more content to come. In all honestly I think we could stay in the caravan indefinitely.
Faultless. I really have no hesitation recommending them to anyone. A very capable 4wd in their own regard but second to none as a tow tug/tourer in our opinion.
@@ourrealitytravels sorry for all the questions just trying to find us a good setup. All these modern vans seem to be all so close to the max tow capacity of most 4wds
@@wazheamadman6086 No problem, happy to help where we can. I've towed a lot of different things over the years and I would say that having the tow tug weigh more than the van is definitely going to provide the best and safest ride for you. You don't want the tail wagging the dog!
These took us much debate to land on as a top 5. What's your top 5 guys?

Thanks for the great feedback Steven. Plenty more content to come and we will continue to keep it as real. Safe travels, ORT.

Think that it’s a good top 5 well done.
And definitely AT/MT Tyres, would also be my no1
How has the Jayco held up off road. Going to do big trip ourselves and want the Silverline

How have you found the 200 for towing a large van
