I’m definitely the lazy natural. I was tired of having to do my loose natural hair so much! I’ve talked about getting locs for years so I finally did it. It’s been such a liberating process for me. 💕
I feel like I’m a lazy natural that has become a loc girl. I definitely joined because I’m TIREDDDDD of doing my damn hair but now that I’m here, I can’t see myself leaving . If I did it’d be to shave my head over 10 yrs down the line
Definitely a loc lady who combed out her locs 😭 I wanted thicker locs and to use a different method. I interlocked my first set and by year 3 I missed my texture due to the method, but now with thick semi freeforms I get to enjoy my texture and locs 🥳 I still say I’ve been locd for 5 years 🙈😅
I am soooooo glad the algorithm showed me your video todayyyyyy. Immediate sub. And heavy on the fact that a lot of the loose natural girlies manipulate their hair in a way where they can avoid their natural texture. Like that was such a GREAT point. So glad this convo is being had.
I was definitely a lazy loose natural but for me I felt I reached the point where I done all I wanted and was kinda bored. Locs were always the end goal for me though so when I had those thoughts and was thinking about a silk press (last time I used a flat iron was 2015/2016) I knew it was time😂 been locd in since May 2020 not looking back
I dont exactly agree with the strict 3 categories. I think I fall somewhere between loc lady and loose natural. I love wearing my afro out which is why I never thought locs could be for me since I always miss it. However, with how tight my coils are and their extreme tendency to tangle, I never got to enjoy it for long as my hair would start locking within a day. This is why I just decided to go along with what my hair wants to do by installing microlocs. I get to keep the versatility of my hair and enjoy wearing it out without having to comb out locs every two days
I'm a lazy loose natural turned loc lady ❤️ My solution before was to cut my hair short and my mom was tired of ke doing that. That's when I stumbled into locs lol
I am the loc Lady that had to comb out my locs after 2 years and a scalp issue, BUT I missed the locs so much that I placed them back in after six months. I am now a year in with this second set on 12/23/24. I see I am not alone and rock on!❤
While for now i feel like i just love my hair way too much because of the freedom, i definitely encourage change and wanting to switch up.... Sticking to one hair "style" i can see being hard for some- to me it depends on the reason you got locs in the first place --- as for me im a 4lifer baby
Yes pandemic loc girlies lol I started mine after but I don't plan to cut them I can't even deal lmao I'm the "lazy" natural chile I was over the styling and keeping up with my hair all the products taking days to do my box braids etc and for some reason it would not grow past a certain length and yes it felt like a chore at times 😅 wake up it's done I'm definitely running 🤣🤣 I filmed my journey from 1 inch locs and let me tell you whew chile that wasn't easy it it inspired so that's all that matters 🤣 but thinking of going back to loose natural I always fold Issa no fa me 🤣 and I wouldn't comb them out if I don't want them I'd cut them lmao but this was a great video you were definitely on point with a lot of this!
@@TylerAnuranita lololol “pandemic loc girlies” i had to post that on my stories😭 buttt yesss👏🏾 sometimes i be thinking how long my hair is but there is absolutely NOTHING in me that wants to voluntarily be a loose natural hair girl 🤣 1 inch though 👏🏾🔥 it’s on your RUclips? i wanna check it out🙌🏾
@@thesimoneestelle nothing in me to voluntarily be a loose natural lmao I felt that 🤣 and yes it's all up there 🤗.. even my loc damage journey. Came close to wanting to cut it but I was like nope lol I refuse 🤭
I started during the pandemic & I'm the lazy natural/loc lady. December 13th will be 4 years for me. And you were too nice on the trendy girls lol. They get it for just that, the trend. Someone i know had gotten them months after i did and she recently combed them out. I'm like good, i don't want you with my hair style or apart of our community lol.
I've had mine for 20 years ans currently combining out. After 3 pregnancies ans peri menopause my roots can no longer handle the weight. Getting micro locs immediately when I'm done.
i loveeee micro locsss🙌🏾😩 i always say for whatever reason i do another loc journey i would try them. but wow 20 years in the game👏🏾 that’s awesome, what was your favorite thing about having locs?
@ I'm very low maintenance so definitely the freedom. I'm still processing that someone else will be responsible my micros because I always maintained my locs by myself.
Girl before I clicked the video I thought you combed out your locs 😩 I was about to say dangggg another one bites the dust 😭
Anybody who combs out their locs getting unsubscribed immediately, including you! No shade no tea to the comb out community 😂💖🫶🏽

Exactly, immediate unfollow

The funniest thing about getting locs is that now I’m MORE excited to style my hair! This was a great video

The clip with death kid🤣😂🏆
I agree with socially acceptable it’s a trend. For guys to where I’m from it was rare. To see someone with dreads. Now every damn body have them

I think black women look beautiful with dreadlocks
😂 Baby boomers were the huge generation. Gen X-; we're a small, forgotten about generation😂
Gen X are the children of Boomers. 😅
Tu es trés dramatique, Simone 😂
The video good still.
Tu es trés Dramatiqu 😂😂 I'm cracking up lol
Gen x are not baby boomers. The baby boomers are the Gen X parents. Gen x are known as the latch key kids.
