To me this is one of the best home ports of MK1, right there with the MS DOS CD Version.

It's so far ahead of the official 16 bit ports it's remarkable. The only major visual concession is the background layers.

The animation and sound is actually better than the 16 but ports. I always thought the music on both SNES and GEN sounded pretty garbage.

@@youraveragejoe2 I LITERALLY SAID IT DOESN’T WORK ANYMORE, I.E. I’VE DUG IT UP ONE DAY AFTER FINDING IT, CHANGED THE BATTERIES AND TRIED TO SEE IF IT STILL WORKED
And it did for a bit, until the internal wiring got fried and went kaputski on me, and now it’s just a huge-ass paper weight
