I don't know how they can say that She broke up his marriage. Dixon is the one that asked her out. He's the one who first started cheating on his wife. Chances are she didn't even know that he was married in the beginning. He's rich. He could easily have had a second life. Rent a house and furnish it. A different cell phone and number. Tells his wife he's working when he wasn't. And playing BOTH women at the same time. Then she finds out he's married and dumps him. Moves on with her life and meets someone new and falls in love with him. To ME, this sounds more like Dixon didn't like the fact that SHE dumped HIM. It hurt his Pride. He's a rich guy and used to getting what he wants. If HE had dumped HER it more than likely wouldn't have turned out this way. But Dixon couldn't stand the fact that he lost her AND his wife by screwing around. And chances are he knew the other doctor was rich also so he couldn't even bribe her to come back to him with all kinds of fancy and expensive gifts. So he figures that if he gets rid of the other doctor then she'd come back to him. Just didn't work out that way for him. Now he's in jail and charged with murder. Nobody is worth loosing your life over.
