You don't have to stick to it, so it would be nice if you could find a consideration that you are comfortable with🥰🥰
this song... its definately about the education system. at first i didn't realize it, but listen. common world domantion, all the schools, almost every kid goes through this. its world domination but common. you dont notice its happening. but all the pointless questions that they drill into you and make it seem like it matters. based your smartness on that. "peppers red? or green? a true discovery." they make you take tests that hardly matter, which usually cause so much stress. espcially if you get below a 70%, but it's not like you can change it, after all you have to do this. and the school system has a rep for killing creativy, . "and take that mandatory survey, lies in my head. it hurts it hurts, its hurting me so badly but i couldnt go against their word." and when the song says. "oh thank you, and good morning, im sorry, all the words you knew everything will be a memory of a long forgotten time. turning fourteen soon, then its fourty- two." is another way to show how useless all the interactions are at school, you'll forget this all when you're older because it really didnt matter. it also pokes at how most grown ups don't actually retain the info that they got from school, just another forgotten memory. all that time you spent in school didnt matter. the, "please save them if you can" lyric is pretty explainable. it wants you to save the people from this bad education system. i feel like the 2nd half focuses more on the reaktionships you get from school. and the lryic "let me sleep and drift away" could be hinting at how school takes the fun out of things, makes u tired and exhausted. "feeling happiness, feeling woefulness, even pranks that make it all a mess, everything will be montiorted in me, regualting what is left." now i have alot of takes on this one but basically theres 8 hours a day at school, you spend more time with your teacher than you do your own family so of course they see more of you. but still, teachers montior what you can and can't do, they tell you how act and if you dont listen you get in trouble. + all the names she calls out to are her classmates/ friends

I don't really understand, but i THINK it's about how the education system hinders us, supported by lyrics such as "regulating what is left" which refers to how school sucks out all our creativity and soul with each passing year. It can also destroy our sense of identity by making us all feel the same, supported by the lyrics "soon you won't even know your name", showing how school enforced lessons and equality will at some point take away who we are as people. But that's what i think, i may be way off. :-)
I think the song is about the dangers of everyone being forced to having the exact same mindset despite their true feelings. Rather than bringing up their own unique ideas, they are expected to follow one type of mindset. This could probably be backed up when Miku in the song mentions that every action everyone makes would be watched. There is also a possibility that in the story, if anyone ever had a different mindset as the rest of society, they would be discriminated, which would make it difficult for them to get along with anyone. The part where a bloody passport is mentioned could mean that anyone who shows signs of being unique would be killed. Since the unique people would have no one to turn to, no matter where they are, they will be discriminated or seen as wrong. I’m also guessing that the reason this would happen in the story would be because something happened to the world that caused it to go to chaos, and because of that, people have become too scared to have different opinions in fear of starting chaos all over again. This could cause rules to be made that tell people to act in a specific way. This could also be why the people’s actions in the story are possibly being monitored. This is all just a guess though 😅 I didn’t really think much while typing this.
I think it might be about the anime Madoka Magica, and it's a magical girl becoming a witch. After watching the anime it completely changed the song's meaning for me. So many of the lyrics easily apply to the anime, too, such as mentioning "cruel invaders that we hate" (Kyubey) and them "testing a theory" reflects how they're pretty much using magical girls as test subjects to save the world. But there's other possible meanings, too. Though the PMMM theory seems to be the most likely.
