Referring, figuratively I believe, to the way snake's are sneaky and usually slowly kill a helpless target. The two main types of killing in predator snakes are poisoning and constricting, both of which are slow, painful deaths that, in a human parallel, require meticulous planning and disarming before moving in for the kill.

I want to point out the fact that we see Sniper Scopes/laser pointers right after that. Before she became Ene, Takane loved First Person Shooter (FPS) games and a common weapon is the Sniper Rifle.
Well, it's 11 years on and so far, I don't think anyone's done a cover better than this.
A lot of little flairs in other covers that are great, but nobody's put the whole package together this well.

I think that everyone on that list goes to the Heat Haze world. Shintaro and Ayano are the only ones that freely pass through the Heat Haze and regular though. I forgot a few things since I haven't been up to date but as far as I remember: Ayano commited suicide to ruin her father''s (who is possessed by the snake that later possesses Konoha) plans. Kido is thrown across the room and falls about 3-4m while unconscious. In the anime she survives, but the anime is a reality in which they all end up living happy. The song shows the near infinite amount of times before that in which they're constantly in a loop allowing the snake to live. So basically, in the loop Kido dies from said flung across the room, Seto is strangled, Kano is also thrown across the room I believe, Konoha is shot then possessed by the snake to become Kuroha. Haruka however isn't known to die in the anime or song series I think, as there's theories that the entire thing is in his head. However, I think he is held in a hospitol in the heat haze. Hibiya is hit by a truck, however that takes place in his dream since he can see the future basically. I cannot remember if that happens but I know he makes it alive to the Heat Haze. Azami, Marry ect. are the 3 medusa's that are the rulers of the heat haze ( I think) and hence none of them ever die I don't think. Ayano's mom and Dad are both seen in the heat haze at the end of the anime so they make it safely. Shintaro is existing in both world I think. In 'Route 1' or the real world, he commits suicide to foil the snakes plans as he sees into the future heat haze and Kuroha is there. In the actualy heat haze though he lives his normal life and crosses into the regular one before they both merge. Ene was never actually killled though I don't think. As for Momo, she doesn't die either as far as I remember. I could tell you the entire confirmed plot that I remember but this is long enough as is lol. Remember that I don't know this for certain, it's what I think I remember.

Oh man, I just want to say that this is probably the coolest English lyric re-write and cover I've heard so far. the English parts not only convey the story without leaving too much out, but it also fit the song/beat soooooo well. I was hesitant at listening to this, but the song is infectious and really you can't say no to Outer Science! And Juby's voice makes it brilliant- it also may have added a bit of chilling feeling.
Extra:
Whenever I listen to this, my bones just shake and not the 'Let's Dance' kind of shake, the 'Oh God this is horrifying and someone save them' kind of shake. I mean as you listen and watch, with knowledge of the story, you can't help but tremble in fear. Just like Marry, you're helpless to do anything. What's worse is just seeing what Kuroha could do. He could push you into the way of a truck or maul you to death with the snakes. He's the kind of sick twisted antagonist that just wants to see you cry over and over until he's just tired of you. To be honest, I'd be one of those people who'd be frozen in fear at the sight of him. He truly is the epitome of my worst fears.

He seemed incredibly whiney... and he hardly got any screen time with his insanity. A disappointment, really :(
I completely agree, he was more like the stereotypical monologueing villain when in the manga he just got to the point, didn't waste any time, and killed them.
The anime was okay, pretty good, but i just feel like they tired to rush it to make it fit into twelve episodes. They could have done more episodes, but instead they chose to shorten it and rush it.
Over all it was amazing. They did a great job with the eye power effect stuff, and it was more open about Mary's, her mother Shion's, and Shion's mother Azami's past.
And, last but not least...
KANO WAS HILARIOUS.

solarjetica well, quite a story, sit down boys and girls and listen to this theory (I'm going to try to explain as much as I can without giving too much spoiler). There was this boy named Haruka, he was very very sick, his heart was very weak, because of this he couldn't get surprised, make too much effort, that kind of thing, so, one day, his heart failed in class and his only classmate was ignoring him, so he died. When he died, he entered the "Heat Haze", and gained the power to make an "ideal body" for himself, as he did, his personality was possibly split in two, making Kuroha and Konoha (Kuroha the crazy one, in this video, and Konoha, wich is in the opposite of him)
Sorry for the long comment, not much of this is confirmed, as both in the manga and the anime nothing of this was revealed, just the part that Haruka died because of his heart...
