Love going up to Oban on the train and do ferry trips to Mull, Lismore or Colonsay. At the end of May paddle steamer Waverley does cruises to and around various islands. Unlike winter the summer accomodation prices are crazy.
Thanks for letting me know and sharing your adventures. We love going to Oban too, we haven't tried Lismore or Colonsay yet but we hope to do it one day. We tried Waverley once but it was a long time ago and couldn't remember where we went as I end up being unwell. Thanks again and enjoy your future trips
