Right I don't do well with hyaluronic acid alone since there's so much products that has that ingredient crasy even cleansing spf name it lol its a lot I get so irritated to use alone so all my other products has in it so no need a separate one ❤❤❤❤
Sounds like a great change, as I stopped using mine and opting for The Ordinary Marine Hyloronic acid instead.. My favourite, the Neurtogena Water Gel, which is predominantly hyloronic acid, is also getting a reformulation. Yay!
Just placed my order for the reformulated HA serum. My skin does love HA, and now that I don’t have SubQ skin, or HA in my MAS products, I needed something!
I bet it goes well with the MAS serum lol.. I am out of it until the rebrand lol so I will have to wait until then to try them together.. love you tom xx

I have sensitive skin with a bit of rosacea so this serum didn’t work for me. It leaves a sticky feeling and doesn’t really hydrate my skin. I’m not saying it’s a bad serum but I think hyaluronic acid is not good for my skin in general. On the other hand, I followed your recommendation and got the Ordinary Soothing and Barrier Support Serum…..now …that one is a winner. Very soothing, hydrating and leaves your skin so soft…! Amazing! Thank you so much for recommending it!😊
You know what Rob , about a year ago I watched one of your fabulous videos talking about The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid with 2% Vb 5, you mentioned that we should try The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic instead, you said it’s even better. I gave it a try and have never looked back, you were absolutely right!!! The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic is far superior!! ❤

Thank you so much for your break down I understand what I am getting and some of my worries have been resolved because my hyaluronic acid was getting sticky and a bit heavy on my skin. I still have the old formula and recieved the new one today and I can tell the difference you were talking about when I applied on my skin.
I also did not like the original one, but I use their marine hyaluronics, it feels almost like water but I find that, like any other product I tried with marine/algae extracts, I see and feel its nice effects.
Haha suzanne I know you too well as I thought of this question when I was editing the video.. I would say they have the exact same texture which is nice and I do like the addition of the ceramides in the HA but they will both do the same thing in the long term.. Love you x
Not sure if I missed, did the color of the product changed into a little bit yellowish? I purchased one at Sephora two weeks ago and it’s yellowish in color, tho I haven’t tried and finishing my current HYA
Yes!! I've noticed this too. It definitely changed into a more yellowish colour... I was in doubt if the product was ruined... Thanks for noticing that!
I am SO glad they added ceramides because my skin barrier is damaged and ceramides will help me heal. I liked the old product too actually that’s why I repurchased it but I noticed a yellowish tone and thought they sold me an expired bottle so I wanted to take a look at what other people say. Turns out the ordinary reformulated the ingredients and made the product even better and I am really looking forward to testing this „new“ product cause I believe it will heal my skin barrier 🙏 I‘ll use it in combination with polyglutamic acid from the inkey list. What do y‘all say? Will it work?

TO needs to put more ingredients into their products and not just one ingredient. Otherwise you end up with 10 different bottles of products to have a complete skincare routine. This is the reason I barely use TO anymore.
Does this replace moisturizing cream or should this still be followed by it? I swear by Cerave Moisturizing Cream (has HA & ceramides) and wonder if it would be overkill (or even detrimental) to follow this product with the Cerave.
Thanks for the video. I wonder how do you tell the original from the new formulation (by just looking at the packaging)? Here in Australia we usually are about six months at least behind the rest of the world and I'm sure the original is still sitting on the shelves. I used to use the original but swapped up to something else but would like to try the new one.

Hylamide SubQ skin had 5 forms of Hyaluronic Acid in it and I know for a fact that it applied smoothly and wasn’t tacky, unlike Buffet (Multipeptide serum). I wonder how it compares to what was in SubQ Skin or Hylamide Booster Low-Molecular HA. For what it’s worth, the Hylamide booster contained Very Low-molecular HA, Hyaluronic Acid Ferment, Hydrolyzed HA, HA Pre-cursor, and Plant HA
Which one would you put on your skin first argireline or this? My skin is dehydrated at the moment (but I also want to keep using argireline for dynamic fine lines)
I was re stocking on my HA and I noticed the color was yellow compared to the clear HA I had, both the ordinary and same exact formula/concentration. I was going to return it but is that normal? The yellow color threw me off because all my serums have always been clear😦
This new formulation didn't suit me... I don't know why my skin is getting rough day by day ... I have been using this new HA formulation for more than a month.😢😢

I never tried the old formulation so it’s new to me. I was hoping for retinal or an updated version of the AA + AA serum.

You would still have to use a. moisturising cream after and so if you can find one with HA in multi weights then t would save a step for sure :) x

I use the ordinary marine Hyaluronic acid. It’s a little watery but like it better than the thicker one.
