I don't know. Maybe it's me getting older, but I appreciate the music more than I did 20+ years ago. The styles, the outrageous looks, it's all fleeting. But good music will stand the test of time. The drummer is wearing a simple, button down, checkered shirt. No tattoos from head to toe. No jewelery, piercings, shit stuck in his face. Just a normal looking guy, rocking out.

I bet you're not a live musician(especially not drummer or bassist) cause It's hard not to rush on a live song without metronome. But I think this rush is actually intentional, they have done this on most shows I've seen on YT since the 90s

no they dont...this sloppy version does ....check out the howard stern perfomance with the asian guy back...thats ten years later and way better than this ...the rhythm section mustve never heard this band

Joe Dorer That argument doesn't make sense, in my opinion. If he really hates playing greatest hit, he should stop calling himself Smashing Pumpkins. As long as he tries desperately to still have the SP band, people will go to their concert expecting to hear some 1979 or this song.

La gente espera escuchar solo los "hits" en conciertos, y eso es menospreciar el trabajo que hacen actualmente. No niego que deban tocar sus viejas canciones ahora, pero si solo van a repetir lo mismo y lo mismo, no tendría sentido mantener la banda en pie. Pero bueno, es solo mi opinión :)

It's on par with the version that they played on the Adore tour (they also completely butchered Zero on the Adore tour) which I saw live. Just glad I also got to see them on the Mellon Collie tour where they didn't fuck with the versions.

Billy left the door open for them, but he didn't exactly leave on good terms with them, originally Billy recorded all of the parts anyways and just credited Darcy and James... but lack of communication over years can lead to uninterested and tainted friendships..
