      Thank you. We try to keep things light hearted and make people laugh. If we do that we did what we set out to do 😊

    Hi, great video and very well explained. We used to have Britstops, and there are some fantastic locations. For us the downside was as you say, feeling the moral obligation to go in and eat/drink…we also had 1 pub rather quite abrupt and demanded we booked a table for a meal before allowing us to park up. It ended up costing us more per night than stopping at a CL with all the facilities. Not knocking it, it is a very useful scheme if you like to go out for pub meals 👍

      I think for us all jokes aside about the 8p, we don’t mind paying more than on a CL as we get our dinner cooked for us. The main reason we love the book is the ease of research. Everything is all In one book with an easy key so we know if we can take the dogs without having to ring around and ask. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊

    For £28.00 sounds a no-brainer. But I do agree if I was eating and drinking in the location then i would almost expect them to allow the 'overnight stay' as your only taking up a space in a car park during the night. It would be different if you could use the space as a 'site'.. I like most would also feel obliged to eat and drink or purchase if a garden center, so I'm on the fence with this one. Great vlog though.

    Genuine question, we don't have this book and just pull up at a pub and ask if we can stay and never been told no if we are eating and drinking there. Is it just convenience of knowing where places are as we cant see an advantage. Not knocking this, but we just like to drop on places ad hoc so probably not for us.

      Thanks for watching even though the scheme isn’t for you. We love that it’s not just pubs - we stayed at a Garden Centre a few weeks back. It’s also a good tool for us as it tells you if dogs are allowed. That’s saved us so much time having to ring round and ask many places before finding a dog friendly one 😊

    We’ve not had time to use our Brit stops yet so the overview on how it works was really helpful. Did you actually “trump” when sitting on the seat outside the van…certainly sounded that way 🤣🤣🤣 Looked to be really good food and plenty of it.😋
    Cheers both 🚐🤩👍

      Haha I actually had to re watch that to see what on earth you were talking about. That is one poorly timed sound effect 😂 we will have to find one to do together 😊 get Andy to have a look in the book and see if there is one on top of a mountain 😂

    Hey….doesn’t come with a App now? Thanks

    • @DolittleCampers
      @DolittleCampers  2 года назад

      Yes there is an app which is great for when looking to book but dont have the book handy. The app is very laggy if im honest and you still need the book as proof on arrival
