@@dbf5803 yoshida brothers music has very much postprocessing, though still very enjoyable. Wagaki band have too much other stuff - one can barely hear shamisen there. And kiki here is just skill/synchronization + a very nice instrument, that's why I enjoy it most.

Because I've been watching a fair amount of SIT/Kiki's vids, RUclips recommended a video - 林英哲 Ei-tetsu Hayashi & 木下伸市 Shinn-ichi Kino-shita "-SHI-BU-KI-" - which shows a shamisen and taiko folk performance in the National Theater, Chiyoda. Wonderful example of percussion's complementary aspect for the tsugaru shamisen. Wishing you all success on your shamisen courses.

At 16:00 in video a question was asked as to what instrument would be good to accompany shamisen, and Ki&Ki replied maybe a percussion. I think a bodhrán (traditional Irish drum; I play one myself) would work great as a subdued background to your music 😊 As always, you, ladies are great to listen to and see 😁👍

A trio of Ki Ki complimented with a koto would be phenominally ethereal and would probably induce such a deep trance one could never escape--forever trapped in a state of blissfully hypnotic catatonia!

I've been enjoying the mix of traditional with modern - Yoshida Brothers, Rin' and Wagakki Band have all been good.
