the song you're humming in the beginning is what my older sister used to sing me to sleep with, and oh man, i cannot describe the flashback of nostalgia and tingles this gave me. all of a sudden i had the same comfort and safety i did as a kid, and even though its just a coincidence you picked that song, i cant describe how sweet it is knowing i'll have this video whenever i need it. thank you!!!!!

My 3yr old loves ASMR videos she has a stammer and these videos help her that we’ve noticed. She loves people singing softly, whispering and open fire sounds. nicola jason don't worry my brother he had a very bad stammer or stutter and he got speech therapist but what really helped him was if you take deep breaths before you speak and think through with what you want to say it helps.... He still has a small stutter when ever he is really nervous. But now it has improved %95

Thats wonderful! Singing also helps stuttering. Its unusual. My grandpa had a bad one. I myself had a speech impediment. Its difficult but very doable to overcome xo
My poodle pup became as intrigued by this video as I was. His little ears perked up, and he crawled over in my lap. He started snoozing quicker than I could. :))

Awe :) I had a Jack Russel as a kid, I named him Bynx. In the winter, he used to crawl under my covers to stay warm, he kept me warm too :). I miss him dearly, he was such a good dog. He lived a long and wonderful life.

My mom was extremely abusive, and thankfully I am gone from that life now, I get some panicked moments. This is very comforting, especially since I never really got this as a kid
I cried while watching this. I was tucked into bed, listening to this video, when I suddenly began to tear up. Never before has this happened to me while watching ASMR. It was the combination of the hair brushing and your singing that brought me back to my childhood when my mom would play with my hair and sing lullabies to me. It made me remember how much those moments with my mom meant to me. Watching this video was such a nostalgic and profound experience. Thank you, Emma. Your work, as always, is incredible.

40yr old man here. I love to use ambience for my gaming table....so I decided I'd start treating myself to rain sounds growing up in the tropics. Since most of my games are medieval fantasy the fireside has been really calming. But adding female singing was most enjoyable. I miss my mom singing to me bedside. Emma, oh noes. I feel bad now, don't cry. These videos... As painful as it might be, they help me re-adjust to what actual normal parents should mostly be. Kind, loving, and patient. It helps reinforce what I grew up with is abnormal, so it's easier to work on bad habits/thoughts that aren't actually my own and I want to get rid of.

This is blowing my mind. I'm having an asmr childhood flashback! When i couldn't sleep as a child my mother used to sing that song you hum in this video. I'd be all tucked in and I didn't know what tingles were back then but they used to help me get to sleep! I hadn't thought about that until I just heard the humming. Amazing

I needed this relaxation! Today I failed my driving test for the second time, so I've felt incredibly down since then. (And I'm 23, not 16, lol...I waited a bit longer than most). I have to wait two weeks to take it again, which sucks. Let's hope third time's the charm! :P In the mean time, videos like this help me feel better and quit dwelling on the negative thoughts!

Guys, insomnia is pretty crazy..sometimes I don't sleep until 8 or 9 in the morning..it might just be a mistake but some people really do have issues with sleeping until this time in the morning lol.
