- Wrasse lure fishing - In this episode I tackle a windy coast line in search of anything that will take a lure. Expecting some wrasse action but will take anything the swims. The conditions are mental but the fishing is awesome!

Well I have to say quite a few freshwater lure RUclipsrs have taken to the sea fishing malarkey but you are the only one I’ve watched who’s done it in quite rough sea so hat off to ya buddy and well done on your catch …. Cracking video and like you say ( just in case anyone who’s new to this are off fishing ) take care as it can be dangerous and tricky conditions … …. Top man and all the best to you and yours 🎣😀👍🏽
Cheers John. Yeah not an easy thing to do but can be done. Must admit I’ll be checking the tides and weather a bit more next time. Why make fishing even harder for yourself plus if I did end up in the drink I’d rather fall in when it’s not crashing up against the rocks. Might have a chance of surviving then 😆

The problem with sea fishing, as you discovered, is you have no idea what the conditions are going to be like when you get there. Having said that it really is good fun and the fish are far more powerful then they are in freshwater.
Yeah mate it’s not the easiest. 15mph winds inland are a bit different to the coast especially if it’s coming straight at you. Lots more to think about but we learn as we go I guess

Nice one buddy glad you’re enjoying it. All my gear is from Grundens. All really good quality. The one I have is the Downrigger Goretex jacket. I’ve actually also got the matching bib n braces to go with it for when I’m in the boat. The trousers in this video are the Grundens Bulkhead waterproof Tech fleece.
