Port Angeles to Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park Time Lapse Drive

- This drive begins in downtown Port Angeles, Washington, and follows Hurricane Ridge Road up to the top of the mountains, in the middle of Olympic National Park.
Port Angeles is my hometown, I've lived away from it for about a year now. I got a little nostalgic watching this. Everything is exactly the way I remember it.
Olympic NP is a really beautiful place to visit... Hurricane ridge, Rialto beach.. crescent Lake.. all are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your video. ,want to visit again soon.

I love the fact that there is a wrong turn in this ride, there was no reason to go towards Albertsons, lol However, that's right by my daughter's house so I enjoyed even more and overall this has to be the best trip video on Port Angeles and Hurricane Ridge Road.
You have to pay an entrance fee. Totally worth it. For a challenge, hike up to the tallest peak you can see straight from the lot. I've done that. The views are BREATHTAKING.

I take it these roads in the national park (including the one you were driving on) were originally logging roads.
Just curious, what is the limit speed going up Hurricane Ridge Road? And was that a toll booth you pulled over into?

It was two bars over and over. Like Chinese water torture only it was for the ears. Made me feel anxious. Much calmer when I muted it

I'm curious... I'll be that way in September, how long is the drive from Port Angeles, to Hurricane Ridge parking lot? I'm hoping to include this in my trip.
Once you are in Port Angeles and start heading up, about 30 mins with no stops, but you will want to stop at the look outs, breath taking.
30-45 minutes from the bottom with no stops. Watch out for long backups at the visitor center.
You just get there and it ends!
