Love the tapered cockpit! It feels like the bridge is getting modernized to what regular people think a combat ship would be like (more like Star Trek bridge or fighter cockpit). Also, the Chinese USV looks futuristic as heck. The Turks have some very nice sleek, good value, densely packed, ships. That drone alone looks like a crazy beast! I can't imagine a swarm of those.
USVs are getting powerful and sophisticated quite quickly.
yes, Leonardo tested UM Submarine back in 2015, I worked in Türkiye for Fincantieri Tuzla! Italian Telespazio helps Türkiye too in develop satellites Project GÖKTÜRK
Good time to be a ship builder.
Well done Xav! Another excellent video. Your coverage of the event has been fantastic. It’s interesting to see the Chinese showcasing designs. Keep up the great work!!
Damen's OPV 2600 design is a lot more survivable and capable than most OPVs out there.
@2:24 oohhh VSP (Voith Schneider Propellers) are supper cool. While I love them, I have a bit of doubt of their use in that hull design and application, but always cool to see them.
The Foxtrot 115 frigate at 9:45 looks like a scale down version of the I-class frigate. But still well armed with 16 Ashm/SSM and 16-cells VLS SAMs and a GOKDENIZ 35mm CIWS.
Cool! 👌
The type 31 Frigates and arguably one of the very best ships Type 26 Frigates for the Royal Navy and our Allies.
No, that will be our new air defence and command frigates, als our new ASW frigates will be better.
All ships will enter service between 2028 and 2034. Total of 9 frigates biggest around 10000t
Yes ... the Royal Chilean Navy for example 😁🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the coverage. The "music" is far too loud relative to voice.
I love naval news
Very impressive system put together by the Chinese. Thank you Naval News
Realy I like this video
The Poly Technologies line up looks downright scary if deployed en masse.
A lot of evolution on the designs!!
Lindo demais esse navio.
A USV is better equipped than half of the manned royal navy ships.
Or any LCS ! :D
Chinese design kept the tempo and overtook most of competitors !
I'm impressed !
And let's not even talk about the German Navy's toothless frigates.
What sea states can it operate in, and is endurance measured in hours or days? I'm always suspicious of these models that are heavily overloaded with everything short of a tactical nuke. And this thing does ECM as well? Note that it appears to be optionally manned, so that on top of everything else it still has to reserve internal volume and stability margins to accommodate a couple of humans, probably at least three (at least two of which are likely console operators for the ECM role).
Conclusion: if you're policing a small sea or coastal region, maybe. But you simply can't compare the mission profile of this Saudi Princeling's bath toy with a 7,000 tonne frigate with global endurance.
@michaelpezzullo3591 seriously, it absolutely isn't. And the jury is out on whether you're a victim of Russian trolling or are in fact a paid Russian troll. Either way, you're muted 👍
@@lukedogwalkeraren't all USVs designed for small seas & coastal defense? This is probably a cost effective one too since it's chinese.
MCMV looks a bit top heavy but I'm reasonably sure they know what they are doing and it won't capsize in an extreme crosswind..
I want one, do they make a non-commercial use version? 😊
Only my country can't afford those modern navy ships 😢
country ?
apparently a country where the internet only works for 5 minutes a day@@AS-br8si
Alam na this nyahahaha
anyone got a cruiser design or battlecruiser?
Is any argentina company in this Defence Exhibition?? thank you!
The Ares corvette looks more like a billionaire's super yacht dressed up with turret than a warship.
Who organizes this event? Airfix? That’s what it looks like.
Why is the music so loud?
can dimdex make create and build a long guided advance class warship destroyer for the philippines🤔

Thanks so much for video. Greetings from Türkiye.
Hello to Doha (and - port of Doha) from town Mourom (postal index: 602252) of Muromskiy district of Vladimirskaya Region of Russian Federation!
the sound balance in this video is awful. Talking is low and music is high AF, hurt my ears everytime the music started again
Allie Navy? Russia?

Made in china 😂

Seriosly is not ok ......

Chinese petrol vessel UAV system is fantastic! 👏👏
They answered "yes" to the question "how many weapon systems do we need on this boat?"
@@jorehir While the Chinese petrol vessel UAV system may showcase impressive technological advancements, it's disconcerting to hear that the focus seems to be more on the quantity of weapon systems rather than thoughtful considerations of necessity and peaceful applications. Indeed, the integration of artificial intelligence into military systems is a remarkable achievement.
@@fallinloveatfirstdream4222I focus on quantity of armaments because that Chinese builder focuses on quantity of armaments.
Nothing inherently wrong with it. That concept may have some applications.
@@jorehir Why stop at a boat? Let’s build a floating armory and call it ‘Doomsday Dinghy. Because nothing says ‘diplomacy’ like a missile barrage.
Exploding on a fairly regular basis. 👍
